In before something happens to this thread ... Jordan was very good. Different era. I think in many ways LeBron is better than Jordan. I don't know / think if either were the best all time ... Wilt? ... Kareem? Also, it appears that the big offseason trade in The Great Satan is working out very well, so far at least.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but the Sabres rained on the Ducks parade for one of their best ever players and one of the best to ever play the game. I liked Paul as a player and hated the way his career ended, but I am glad that if any team was going to ruin his night it was the Sabres.

We may look back at the end of the season and remember this game as the character defining win by the Sabres. They played hard and came back from 2 goals down. The end barage was amazing with Hutton standing tall. There is no problem with the goalies, at least for the moment. Larry saving the game was especially awesome considering the beating he takes around here.

I don't think the trade would have been made without a clear understanding of the $ and term needed to sign Skinner. With the intent to sign him long-term.

Yes. Yes it did. I do like the poster that did and he has contributed well to the board, but I did call him out on it, as it is way over the line. JJ has strong opinions about the Sabres and his second team, the Panthers after spending more time in south Florida than in Buffalo. It's normal and he should be able to bring up a valid point for discussion in a thread that is all about the NHL and not the Sabres.
