+++++ So, you guys and gals know what I am attempting here and so far so good. You(s) have offered great support for my efforts. I am approaching the end of week 3. As of last Saturday I stopped eating hard candy, suckers to be exact. It was a great suggestion and I thank NB for it, as it really helped. I am the type of person that goes on binges, both good and bad. Last Thursday and Friday I ate 50 suckers each day. My tongue was going to fall off. So, I decided to just stop. Now I have substituted ... you guessed it ... CHOCOLATE!! They say that chocolate is a substitute for many things. I just ate a whole giant chocolate bar (300 grams) in one sitting. Yup. I am once again staring down that rabbit hole.

I'd say his inbox is full. He does receive them when able. Unless something has changed.

He is a talented NHL Dman. He will look much better once he is in the role best suited for him, which the #3 for the Sabres. He will be the top guy in the second pairing at some point, or he will not be the player he really is. He has been forced into roles that are not best for him. This will take time. The other Rasmus will need to grow into the #1 and we will need to develop / find his partner. Only then will Risto be where he is best suited.

Then shorten the bench and elimiante as much of the poopie players as possible and go out with guns blazing. I don't care if they get tired. Practice this as if it's the playoffs, you know the games that the Sabres have not played in in forever, and shorten the shifts. /rant ... (maybe)

I did watch / listen to the game, nor did I watch the highlights. I did not read this thread, or any other news regarding the game. All I know is how it ended up and how it ended up that way. So, I will try to summarize and can someone confirm. Thanks. Hutton being the #1 star must have played very well. The Flames goalie was not a star, so that tells me that this was not a classic goalie dual to the death. The Sabres must not have played especially well overall. To give up a late goal to tie is telling me that the Sabres reverted to 'Alamo mode', at least somewhat. Terrible. A loss in OT, at home, after leading late is very bad. That said, I will take any point the Sabres get, even though my hatred of the loser point is well documented. I want ties. I do not like OT and I detest the stupid SO.

Am I the only one that does not see Risto's rough and tumble side?

I think the Flames goalies are kind of backups. Kinda like the Sabre gaolie situation. You know, where neither has really taken over the starting job abd has run with it.
