Zadorov/pysyk get traded only if he can add a big ticket free agent veteran on def Sekera/Green would be the only replacements worth it.

The major part i read about this press conference, is that murray said he decided on firing nolan after 6hrs of player interviews. All the people who said he was a great coach and the players loved him, should rethink this. Yeah they say he is a great guy, but if they loved his coaching then he'd still be around im sure.

Always surprises me that alot of people just cast away Hodgson and grigorenko in their predictions. I can understand you not putting them in your line up, but atleast show some sort of return you get out of them. Because now you are saying , em, we waived them and got nothing in return.

No he wasn't and think you mean "soul" Also That is the only reason he got multi year extension this time around, Murray gave him a fair shot and apparently the player group let him know they didn't want to continue. Are we really surprised, the reports coming out of the locker room and the entire organization prodicted this. The only thing that could have kept him around was the player group backing him up.

I think Tim already had a pretty good idea on what to do with Nolan after january , but he rode it out going full in on the tankjob. The interviews with the players most likely pushed him over the edge and made the decision much easier to make. Now i wonder wich players had such an influence on Tim to expedite this but we will never know. Hopefully next year we get out of the bottom ten.

I don't know , this really wasn't surprising that he was fired. But that he was fired this quick. Tim just got alot more respect from me, he doesn't ###### about. He had the time to evaluate him all season long, season is over lets start on the next one. Ted nolan was liked by alot of fans, but i really couldn't care about him anymore. I liked him more last year than this one, i just expected him to improve the young guys faster. Good to see Irbe staying with the team though. Edit, well he is getting a shot at staying with the team, will depend on the new coach i guess.
