  1. Bruins turn around and offersheet him , ist hat possible ?
  2. To bad i have to go to work. Also #15 #42 to the islanders for Okposo. I said it first.
  3. Just wanted to say this, we would have never gotten him, bruins would never have given him to a division rival.
  4. Its not about that to me, Murray knows Lehner very well, he drafted and groomed him, he should know more than anyone else that he should become our #1 goalie for years to come. That is the only thing that can justify giving up this 21st round pick.
  5. Its a scary world where Garth starts to make more sense than most journalists. Still think we overpayed, but only time will tell.
  6. If he gets RoR, ads another RW, i can actually see us making the playoffs with a good Lehner.
  7. This is going to be a creepy draft when it comes to trades, things are happening most didn't see coming.
  8. It is in this goaliemarket, and if Lehners brain turns out to be applesauce after his next hit.
  9. Lets talk about the trade again guys, wich to me at the moment feels like overpayment certainly with legwands capdump. Might feel differently about this in half a year but we'll see.
  10. Time will tell if it was a good trade or not, but like hoss said, it was get him now or get him never kind of deal. If hammond doens't pan out in Ottawa with an aging anderson, this might have been a bad day for the senators.
  11. As much of a murray fan I am, Regier layed most of the groundwork for this. But doubt Regier would have made the trades murray has.
  12. The price probably also went up from 31st to 21nd seeing the oilers were going hard after anderson.
  13. Guess i would have been more pissed if that 21st was spend on talbot or lack.
  14. The way i heard him say it was that Tim wanted legwand not that His uncle said he had to take legwand. And i find that hard to believe it was not to get to the capfloor. Legwand has maybe 2 yrs left, I thought let the youth play was part of the plan this season.
  15. Tim murray said he really wanted legwand, and not just to get to the capfloor. I find that part hard to believe.
  16. Well we needed a #1 goalie for years to come, and murray thinks he got one.
  17.    when i first read this waking up. Then i took a shower and thought, If Lehner turns out to be our #1 goalie for the next ten years this is good deal and we are out of overpaying for RoR rumours. Then i was thinking, with #18 and #21 and the capspace we gave a division rival, Ottawa can now go after RoR  To make it worse I'm now thinking what A list prospects murray will give up for RoR.

  19. Lehner is one hit away from drinking from a straw, Talbot had a few good months and is 27yrs old, Rangers are doing the right thing wanting to cash him in. Lack i'd rather have, but none of these deserve more than our #51 pick. Enough free agent goalies at same level as these guys, enroth, neuvirth, ramo,
  20. On a good team Zemgus anchors your 3rd line. 4/6 top guys, and one should be drafted. Guryanov !!!
  21. Something for you RoR trade lovers. True, Eichel Reinhar Zemgus larsson Grigorenko we got enough good centers.
  22. Zadarov would have been claimed by his KHL team, and would have to go there. It was a contract thing. Grigorenko isn't the issue, The issue is that we burned his ELC two years to fast and that he isn't waiver excempt. The KHL would be a welcome solution for a year or two if murray wants him here in the future. Zemgus is our RoR, we don't need him.
  23. There are no issues with the russian, only "issues" dumb fans believe from stupid journalists that don't have anything better to do than make up stories. That is way to steep for a one year rental who can't play RW
  24. Pisses me off to, that and going to a concert and everyone with their phones up. I'd hat to say it pal, but we are what is called "the sandwich" generation. Paying for the debts of generations before us while having to raise kids. Meanwhile trying to buy or rent something leaves you close to being bankrupt.
