    When I first started posting, I came out guns blazing and got in an internet tussle with korab. I also think the first thing I read on here was somebody claiming that Gerbe was a center, followed by another poster saying something about shrader being on suicide watch. I immediately knew that I wanted to be a part of these inside jokes. What a mistake I have made.

    Great point. I've always been very impressed by Pysyk's poise as a youngin in the NHL. He could've easily started all of last season for us and been our best defenseman, perhaps surpassed by Risto/Bogo at the end of the season. That said, I'm not sure what his offensive upside is. He seems to be a competent passer, but I've never been wowed by his shot.

    WC, great post. I do think that you're overstating the talent around O'Reilly a bit. The forwards around him are good, sure, but the team in general is light years behind Chicago. And I've actually heard that RNH's defensive play has improved big time lately. (from trueblue, I think?)

    I think players are definitely capable. Most of them would tell you that they don't care about back to backs at any point in the season. It's a conversation being had by fans about the quality of the game. And Mattpie made a really good point about back to backs and OT.

    It would've been better if she had the seen with Myranda AFTER the rape. To the bolded: Sansa's character has been there before several times. I want to see her taking more agency in her arc. So far this season, the most she's done is give the Boltons some snarky looks and beg Theon for help. Woooopeeee. At this point in the books, she's: (TWoW Alayne sample chapter spoiler) Ugh, why are we still talking about this scene after they finally had a kickass episode.

    To the bolded: :rolleyes: I don't think stats are needed to prove that better hockey results from guys that are less fatigued. It's common sense. If somebody is playing through an injury, having extra rest time in between games absolutely makes a huge difference.

    Back to backs in the finals are a terrible idea. I don't know how anyone can dispute what True said about sloppy hockey. Half the guys are playing injured and they're around the 100th game of the year.

    WC you sweet summer child, that plotline is NOT happening. The A Feast for Crows title drop was really strange. Episode was effin' awesome. Kit Harrington/his stuntmen are really great at sword fighting. His weight is always directly over his feet, which he moves constantly. The legs feed the wolf in sword fighting as well as hockey. AND THEY FINALLY SHOT SOME ACTION SCENES WITHOUT CUTTING EVERY HALF SECOND! YAAAAAAAAAAAY! Nitpick: They really should have pushed some of the content of this episode into the two previous episodes. It's a bit concerning that they STILL haven't figured out how to pace the seasons after writing 4 of them.

    I have my doubts about Hot Daniel, but it was a good hire. He's got a great track record, a cup, and is said to be a teacher *and* student of the game. If he flames out, we can get a new coach right when our guys are hitting their primes.
