We moved my gramma home yesterday after she was "rehabbing" her fractured pelvis at the nursing facilities for 4 months (we tried 4 different places, all had sucky care). Her mobility is only slightly worse than it was before the break, and she's much happier to be back home with us. It's a load off of our minds when we aren't constantly worried about her quality of life. Also, my step sister is home from school and we've been playing lots of music. It's so nice to have somebody close to jam with. We'll probably play a few coffee houses this month.

Sour grapes on finishing 4th and losing the lottery. He wishes he thought of hiring Teds. -

It was all about coaching on the biggest stage in Canada and winning them their first cup since '67. He doesn't lack for confidence, that's for damned sure. -
Your jerk librarian wife is also a dude?

Ville. I would also shoot the death scene Greek theater style.

Bylsma said "Let's grind those female dogs down." to his team. I commented in the Bylsma thread that it sounded like he was a hushed librarian trying not to disturb readers. Richardson is twice the librarian that Bylsma is. Scary guy.

I think so too, he seemed lost in thought. -
Superdraft - where would every NHL player get picked today?

Good pick, I forgot about that little prick. -
Pretty good dickpicks. Artfully done.

Exactly. When the Lightning went up 5-4 in the 3rd i was quite confident that the Rangers would answer. I don't remember the last time I was sure a team would tie it up, let alone the rangers.

I don't think you've ever come into contact with a librarian. In fact I know you haven't because you're still alive enough to type that post. Ok. Not all librarians are terrifying. Your mom is terrifyingly hot.

Librarian scale. That's some deep dark mind space that I don't want to enter. Librarians. Are. Terrifying. I don't think it would get them both fired. I could see Tim convincing Pegula like this: Luker is great with young players and has a lot of promise as an NHL head coach. Worst case Ontario? We jettison him in two years when our young talent is just getting scary good. Then we break the bank on a big name if necessary.

That's awesome. And almost too perfect a way to manipulate NS. -
Why do you think Tim Murray won't hire Luker?

He was a serious in the crease too. Slashing, diving, helping his D-men clear. So fun to watch.

I'm not sure Boston had more overall talent, but if you're counting Tim Thomas you might be right. During their cup run, that was the best goal tending I've ever seen from anyone (too young for Hasek).
-
Truth. He's been JAG in this series. Nowhere near the tough violent bastard (with beautiful eyes) he usually is. That game was awesome. Goals evvvvvverywhere. Tampa's forwards are just too good.

I would have been too scared to diss Boucher like that. I would've "agreed" to a deal, and then locked him out of the GM's office and called for security.

Saw this post earlier today, Hoss. Great work. You, Blue, and Ghost have taught me more about these middle aged schlubs than I ever would have known else wise. I've always liked the idea of Richardson as an up-and-coming coach. My sister's boyfriend has had seasons in Binghamton and he raves about him. Good track record with young talent, seems like a good guy.
-
Good stuff, Blue. I don't know that much about Julien, other than his teams are always ready to play. Especially in the playoffs. His playoff history is just as impressive as Babdick and Hot Daniel, if not moreso. Sexy, sexy Julien.

Yeah, a member on here spoke to him briefly since he became a scout. Saw him at a game of some sort.
