I wonder how much of Pi's Vesey rage is pure jealousy. I know that he played in college. It's okay, buddy. You're still better than the rest of us at hockey.

I loved the first episode, and really appreciate their deliberate shotmaking. So often I'm begging for editors to hold shots and let them breathe, but Night Of takes it to another level. Episodes 2 and 3 are so slow they bored me. The shots seemed like they were being held for their own sake, rather than in service to the story. I'm burned out and I doubt I'll watch more.

I think Kopitar is right on par with Bergeron.

Anze Kopitar is still a top 10 player in the league, though.

I agree with True. We have no 4th line center. I don't want Larsson or Girgensons wasting away on the 4th line, unless we're rolling 4.

I believe it's just me. But yeah, I despise the way stadiums are named. I wish every stadium had a cool name related to the team's history. The fact that the money's going to a local company is nice, at least. I no longer really self identify as an NFL fan, but I'll still go to the home opener with my family every year (not this year because my brother's getting married). And I'll definitely hop on the bandwagon if the Bills ever make the playoffs, but my days of painstakingly reading OTA reports, visiting training camp, and parking myself in front of the TV every Sunday morning are done. The stadium thing still bugs me. It was one of the few things the Bills had that was cooler than most of the league. Good point.

Amazing :lol: I got a full time job offer to be a direct care supervisor for people with developmental disabilities. I'm most likely going to be working with kids. I'm so excited! :) Also, I just spent a couple days in Brooklyn with my dad visiting family and eating bagels. Life is good.

It's different in Europe. Almost everyone speaks English as a second language. Especially in Germany. If they hear you speaking even somewhat bad german with an english accent, they're going to switch to english. Also, America is such a relatively young country that most people are referring to their heritage. I'm absolutely an American, but in the context of a heritage conversation I'm going to identify as British and East European Jewish.
