I'm usually wrong about my predictions but I suspect they'll come out flat, get down 2-3 goals before giving a solid 8 minutes of effort in the 3rd to pull within 2 goals. Hopefully I'm wrong and the Sabres score 9.

The Canucks are a very good hockey team this year, and it should say something about Greenway that they are targeting him to make a good team even better. The Sabres should absolutely not trade him to VAN unless the return is an absolute overpayment, which I would not expect to happen.

Does that mean KO isn't on IR? When I heard week to week I assumed he was on IR and I've been wondering about a corresponding roster move to replace but if he's practicing he's still on the roster.

That feels like a lot of picks for 1/2 a season but I know less than nothing about the operation of the WHL so...good for Savoie.

Was there ever a roster move to replace KO going on IR? By my count we have 22 on the roster - 13 F , 7 D, 2 G. That gives them an extra F & D in the event of injury but I guess I'm surprised Jost or Rosen wasn't called up. Hopefully they're waiting for the World Juniors to wrap up so they can give Kulich a longer look than one disaster of a game.

By the time I get my kid to bed and turn the game on the team is usually down at least two goals. I don't think I've ever had a season where I've turned so many games off.

When he was signed I really hoped he was one of those backups who put in his time and was just needed his opportunity to take the crease. That did not appear to be the case and each time I saw an interview with him the more I disliked him. It always felt like he responded with generic PR garbage speech and you could see he was lying in his eyes.

Granato said he was going to focus more on our power play and days later he's sick. Just goes to show how toxic that mess is.
