I'm usually wrong about my predictions but I suspect they'll come out flat, get down 2-3 goals before giving a solid 8 minutes of effort in the 3rd to pull within 2 goals. Hopefully I'm wrong and the Sabres score 9.

I've been waiting for the wheels to fall off over the past two months. They've lost two in a row, I think we're at the start of a bad streak. How many losses in a row will it take for Granato to be fired?

So I lost $100 at the casino after the game and then got bit by a dog and the worst part of my day was sitting through that boring ass game .

The Canucks are a very good hockey team this year, and it should say something about Greenway that they are targeting him to make a good team even better. The Sabres should absolutely not trade him to VAN unless the return is an absolute overpayment, which I would not expect to happen.

Does that mean KO isn't on IR? When I heard week to week I assumed he was on IR and I've been wondering about a corresponding roster move to replace but if he's practicing he's still on the roster.

That feels like a lot of picks for 1/2 a season but I know less than nothing about the operation of the WHL so...good for Savoie.

Was there ever a roster move to replace KO going on IR? By my count we have 22 on the roster - 13 F , 7 D, 2 G. That gives them an extra F & D in the event of injury but I guess I'm surprised Jost or Rosen wasn't called up. Hopefully they're waiting for the World Juniors to wrap up so they can give Kulich a longer look than one disaster of a game.

By the time I get my kid to bed and turn the game on the team is usually down at least two goals. I don't think I've ever had a season where I've turned so many games off.
