  3. no sporting $ competition after january for Seattle. SLC team would be competing with the Jazz all year long. Something to consider.
  4. Today I found out that Jon Bon Jovi's son, Jesse James Bongiovi, plays football for Notre Dame.
  5. There are large swaths of the internet that make me cry. This is a prime example.
  6. now, see, these are great reasons to be excited about having daughters. I don't have any daughters. So i get excited about the wiping thing.
  7. This is the #1 reason I am excited to have 3 boys.
  8. I can do my job! Really! I can!
  9. It's a biting commentary on the double counting of Grover Cleveland's non-consecutive terms.
  10. I've never been rooting so hard for red-zone futility in my life.
  11. I think it's even more fitting that they are about to get bomb to pieces by a Muslim President who was born in Kenya, educated in an Indonesian Madrasa only to eventually be radicalized into a Black Power Christian Church in Illinois.
  12. I wish all of you injuries and suspension. May your kickers shank PATs and may your running backs have hands of crisco.
  13. At least when he was at school he spent most of his time studying and not partying, at least when he wasn't attending some volunteering event with his christian leadership group. He was also exceptionally approachable and really made the person he was talking to feel like they were one the same level. He never gave off the aura of being a famous football player who gets interviewed on ESPN. F'ing hated him.
  14. The article sounded a lot like Brady Quinn crying into his O'douls whimpering about how he could have made it if he'd only been given the chance. I was at Notre Dame with Brady Quinn. He's so polite and hard working and perfect you can't help but grow to hate him with every fiber of your soul.
  15. ^potentially poor choice of words. Best of luck PA.
  16. The odds of the first forward selected in the draft failing to make the roster are exceptionally slim. I highly doubt Samson plays another game in Juniors. It just doesn't happen very often.
  17. It's possible, the diagnosis rate of ADHD diagnosis is much higher in African American Males than any other subgroup.
  18. I will now rest all my Bills hopes in having such a terrible season NEXT year, that we can draft Everett Golson, he'll show up with his National Championship ring(s) and Heisman(s) and lead the Bills to wining the Super Bowl(s).
  19. This could easily be solved by automatic obligatory euthanasia at age 64. Like in the "Giver".
  20. That President Obama and his supporters were significantly better at convincing voters to cast ballots for him in NYS than Mitt Romney his supporters were. This is an important distinction because there are only three requirements for the job: (1) Born in the US, (2) over age 35, and (3) convince more voters to cast ballots for you. I believe that the particular statistic that you quoted was the element that provided electoral differentiation vis-a-vis that third requirement.
  21. purdue sucks.
  22. I think by questioning their ethics ("I need to do everything in my power to win now to protect my job, regardless of it's impact on the future of the franchise" ~ I believe this to be unethical behavior by an ownerless management team) to be the alternative to these guys being a less competent management team than Jerry Burns and Mike Lynn. I don't think they are incompetent. All of the substantiation needed was in the news headlines on the Morning of May 9th. 2 high first round picks for a single wide receiver. That is selling the most valuable asset the team had left after the first round of the 2014 draft in a wild and misguided attempt to move from 7 to 9 wins this year in order to save your job. That is unethical.
  23. Personal attacks aside, the marginal value of the wide receiver position in the National Football League is pretty well established. To blatantly question the ethics of a major professional sports manager and coach is not outside of the realm of reasonable discourse. To say that a management/coach group took a big swing, at the cost of the future of the franchise, is neither ridiculous, nor beneath me.
  24. There are no circumstances where paying 2 first round picks for a WR is in the best interest of the franchise, I don't care if it's Jerry Jesus Moss III. If the above statement is true, and it is, then the move could not have been made ethically looking at the long term good of the franchise.
  25. Apples and corn on the cob. I was so f'n excited when It was done, I had apples and corn on the cob at every meal for like a week :D
