How can Buffalo have soooo many players that can't make a simple pass. it's really quite pathetic and is one big reason why this team has so many problems.

Not a bad game since we are out of it. If they were in 8th, this team sucks, can't score, Grigs is a bust and sobon and so on......

The last hoorah? Time to get the atmosphere in that building back to where it needs to be. Is that too much to ask for one night of this tough season? I will do everything I can to contribute and truly hope that buffalo does their part to get this team fired up. Is it even possible any more? They pulled off a monumental task getting a win in Boston and the crowd better show some appreciation for it. If not, I am not sure what to say because I really do fear that the crowd noise issue goes deeper than the product on the ice. Even playoff games over the past few years have been silent. Come on Buffalo, Let's turn this thing around along WITH the team....

There may be leaders that surface on this team in later years but who do we know are leaders NOW? I can safely say that Ott is THE leader of this team right now. I am hoping that Hodgson turns into one eventually. As far as anyone else, I come up empty. Maybe I'm wrong, but with the youth movement going on, this looks to be a pretty damning sign. Off season priority number one is to now get a leader on the FIRST line. This needs to be someone who can take a game in his own hands and change it instantly (tone and score.) Who are some targets because we need a GM who is going to make some "bold moves" of his own. The slow starts of the last few seasons plus the disappearing act for whole periods is proof that this person has been missing. Ott is slowly correcting this so go get another.

McTavish quoted saying looking to do Bold Things. I would think trading Vanek for one of their younger guys would be exactly that. Edmonton is sitting on too much youth and Vanek could be the guy that puts them into the playoffs next year....
