It was different in there tonight. Post game felt different.......this team has reached a point where I don't recall a Sabres team ever reaching. They don't look like they belong on the ice with practically everyone they play. I was having a hard time imagining how they would ever get a goal - let alone 2. This team is lost and there is no saving it, not this year.

Ruff is not leaving so they know something else must be done Some sort of change is coming within 48 hours and it's not a winning streak - book it

They just beat NJ so the 8 spot moves a bit further away.....ugh

And what do you think a two way Center does to your goals allowed? The Sabres Centers are pure CRAP on the defensive end. No way you trade Ennis? O'Reilly is exactly what this team lacks so have fun losing a lot more games in the 3rd period this year....

I was thinking about about selling my tix for tonight out of frustration and then I thought - the hell with it. I am taking my 7 year old daughter because this is when the memories are created. Instead of inviting friends and having some beers, I am taking my kids to every game as I feel I am getting my money's worth that way. Yeah, 22 year old centers who everyone around him gushes about come around all the time. The Bills and their QBs along with the Sabres and their Centers have been sooooooo much fun to watch. We can just keep converting our wingers to C and keep fooling everyone for another few years.... Would you have rather waited until Myers became a free agent and then try and sign him along with every other team? I don't hink Colorado is too concerned about making moves to make a run this year - they know what they are and it's not much. They will plan for next year when they are healthy and will hopefully have 2 new players after the trade for O'Reilly

Let's take a look at the Hierarchy Pegula - Loves Ruff Regier - Loves Ruff Ruff - Wants to win a Cup here or die trying See where this is going? Ruff is not going anywhere and Darcy just got extended so I think it IS time to discuss players. O'Reilly is exactly the direction this team needs to go in and Buffalo has proven it is NOT a destination for the super stars (Nash, Richards, Parisi, Suter, etc..). O'Reilly is the best of what the Sabres can hope to get and they would be crazy not to make a move...

I'll take my chances on a 6' 200 pound natural Center who seems to be coming into his own right now over a 5/9 155 pound wing who was converted to Center. Personally, I see more potential in O'Reilly and a nice piece to add to make a contending roster. The team as it is built right now is going NOWHERE and I have no interest in battling for the 8 spot for the next 5 years. Take a chance at the best center you will see become available for a while. They got Hodgson last year, drafted Grigs and now go get the possible missing center. Let those 3 battle for the top 3 lines and off we go....

I would be very curious to see if Ennis and any prospect they want would get it done....
