This Boston Toronto series is exactly why we really needed to get into the playoffs. The team, as it is currently constructed would be absolutely ragdolled from start to finish. It would actually be embarrassing. The good part about that is that this idiot GM would finally realize how to build a team.

Yup, and and as a season ticket holder (ex now), it pisses me off even more. This team is currently rotten, I mean rotten to the core. I hope the next coach makes their lives MISERABLE from day one, they all deserve it.

I am torn between Gallant and Berube as far as realistic targets. Zero chance Brindy looks in this direction.

Not to mention, Dahlin is probably the last person on this team that I would accuse of not putting in full effort.

I talked to my St Louis contact and he said that people were actually pissed when he was fired but they felt like they needed a new voice. They did go on a 14-6 run right after he was fired. He was liked by players even though he was tough on them. I like the sound of that...

There is that accountable piece...in case this was not posted yet. Mike Harrington @ByMHarrington Alex Tuch super enthused when I brought up Lindy and Gerard Gallant (“Turky”) as Granato replacements. Joked he’s seen more #Sabres games coached by Ruff than he’s played in. Loved how Gallant held him accountable during his #VGK career.

I can't think of a more useless player on this team. Some people have to be traded and if Adams is hesitant in trading him, this team is in HUGE trouble.

Adams job 100% relies on his pick. He is going to get someone good, I’m confident.

I am worried that Berubes success that year was solely due to Binnington having an abnormally superhuman year.

Why wouldn't Terry just double the offer of Carolina and see what happens. If he really wants to win, that is the only way it would have a chance.

Hamilton was saying that Ellis was not responsible for the PP and it was the head coach who dictates the style of the pp. Ellis was also Adams guy so he may just stick around.

I would love to see it too. Nobody gets more passionate than me when this team is rolling. I miss that atmosphere in the building more than you can ever know.

First off, I don't think there is a prayer they are making the playoffs next year without a major overhaul to this roster. The coach and GM are likely coming back and once this team craps itself again to start the season, the home atmosphere will continue to be one of the worst in the NHL. The problem they have of missing the playoffs yet again, is that they are not getting any experience with that style of hockey. Once they do finally make it, it's going to most likely take another year to do any damage. I did not watch last night until the last 5 minutes of the game and could not have cared less about the outcome. I just don't understand how this owner can be content with not only missing the playoffs again, but looking like one of the worst teams in the league more times than not. They need to trade their top prospect and 1st round pick to try and land a legit 2 way center to push Cozens down to the 3rd line. I doubt any of these things will happen as they hope the next round of youth movements will save the day. My son said last night that he just wishes he could see 1 playoff game before he goes to college. They have 2 years to make that happen and my daughter (their biggest fan) never saw 1. THAT is why I hate this team so much...

By the way, anyone who thinks that the fight at the end of the game was not staged, does not know this team at all. That was so scripted it was pathetic. Hey, let’s leave these fans one lasting image of a team that we do not represent in a slightest.

Great question because any and all players that are eligible should be sent down, no questions asked. They need as many roster spots available on the big club as possible.
