Halfway through the free agency period it seemed obvious to me that we were going to have a 3 way competition, and thus far noone has separated themselves from the pack to make a decision to cut one loose obvious.

The travesty isn’t that fight, which was retaliation for Tuch’s clip, isn’t suspendible (apparently).The travesty was the non-call on Tkachuk’s high hit on Tuch earlier. I get the no suspension call, given the preceding clip. I don’t get earlier non call.

Savoie has to show over these next 2 weeks that he is better against AHL competition than he was this past Spring before we consider a 9 game stint in Buffalo. He was way out of place at the end of the season im Rochester.
