You are minimizing the idea that the concussions and eventual CTE are driving the drug and alcohol abuse. This is something that a number of the players have commented on. And I disagree that football is equivalent to an enforcer when it comes to CTE. Those old school enforcers were likely receiving some level of brain injury with nearly every fight. 82 game season over 8-10 seasons. 100s of fights.

I didn’t take that as necessarily a negative. Different organizations have different methods of getting to the same place. Granted, I don’t see a downside to adopting the methods of an organization that went to the finals the previous season.

Yeah I was working on the assumption that Byram is 2-3 yrs younger than Dahlin based on previous post. In the very small sample size so far, Byram seems more dynamic than Dahlin. I’m impressed.

Is Byram equal to what Dahlin was 3 years ago? I think these last few games, he looks like he might be at least where Dahlin was 3 yrs ago. You can make a credible argument either way.

Seriously small sample size but Bo’s aggressive play is well received . If Dahlin had Bo’s aggression he would be approaching the generational label we were hammered with.
