My post wasn't what I think should happen. My post was what the article was stating should happen. I mostly agree with your point, family and people closer to the kids should be leading, and Jack's impact is likely minimal. But there is no harm in Jack trying to send a message either. I don't think Jack has any responsibility to "make it right" or send a message or whatever. And I don't think the article conveyed that he has a responsiblity. But the author would certainly like these stars to step up and try and change teh culture. I'm OK with that.

Devil's advocate...... He sat because Phil saw something he didn't like and the message was well received, hence the performance against Montreal. All these opinions are assumptions that Housley doesn't know what he is doing. This teaming is playing like it hasn't in nearly a decade. Maybe Phil is doing something right here....

Didn't see that article as an attack on Eichel at all. To me, it read as an example of a culture that is in need of changing, nothing more. It even said so right in the article. It's pretty clear to me that what the article is trying to do is get more high profile athletes like Eichel to publicly try to change the culture of boys using that kind of language. Again, it says that very thing right in the article. You don't even have to infer it. There is irony in being so sensitive that your first reaction is to express how overly sensitive you think this article was.

And it's been a couple of decades since my vehicle has stranded me or failed in a way that soured me on the vehicle.

Zweigle's need to be grilled until the entire casing is browned and crisp. Otherwise the casing is rubbery and disgusting IMO. As long as the casings are crisped up everywhere, Zweigle's is a solid dog. Grew up in Buffalo. Grew up on Sahlen's. After trying Hoffman's this Summer I have to admit, Sahlen's is a 3rd place dog in upstate NY. That is, assuming Zweigle's skins are fully crisped up. A Zweigle's with undercooked casing is catfish bait though.

My House representative is on the minority side. He won't be on any committees. He's being investigated by the House Ethics committee. And he'll probably spend more time on his legal defense than he will on legislating. NY27 is going to be unrepresented for the next 2 years. But this is better than the other team getting a chance.

A few years back I bought a pair of BIC America bookshelfs based on really solid reviews. They have not disappointed hooked up to my ancient Kenwood set up. That's as close to audiophile as I get. And they aren't wireless. But they sound great to my concert damaged ears.

You underestimate my ability to string big words into a sentence without fully understanding their significance.

Comment based on limited knowledge and unlimited ignorance here, but I wouldn't think wireless/bluetooth is compatible with audiophile level speakers. Doesn't bluetooth compress data? I would think that would result in loss of fidelity.

Without taking any sort of look at stats, simple or advanced, a 30 yr old 2nd line center ar 4.5M for 3 more years doesn't sound onerous at all to me. Carter is def riskier.

Saving grace is, he was the Supervisor in Grand Island, which is no slouch in the household income department. I think he probably plays well in Amherst actually. My polling place was easily as busy as it is on a Presidential election year. Maybe the folks that don't take a shine to illegal activity among Congressmen are more motivated than I give credit for. Noone out here believes McMurray when he says he's a pro gun guy. Democrat = gun grabber, regardless of what the individual politician says. Everyone out here links Collins with Trump. Collins was an early adopter of the Trump Train. They love him out here for it. Strangely enough, I've never got the anti-rich guy sense when it comes to politics out here. And icing on the cake, these folks vote party line across the board.
