  1. Or he refuses to show his hand. Im assuming he’s not a moron and there are things in play that he wouldn’t want to divulge. But he could be a moron.
  2. No, his tantrum got worse and he damaged a bunch of greens. And this too
  3. Remember when we said Elie wasn’t getting waived because Dallas would pick him up and we’d lose an asset? Good times.
  4. This has the makings of a solid meme.
  5. I should say so. If he chooses not to sign it won't be a good omen for our near future.
  6. Now here is an interesting tidbit.
  7. I saw that. Supposedly his issue there was that the sand was not raked properly after the last golfer was in that trap. Something ain't right with that guy.
  8. Best in my lifetime for sure.
  9. Saw that. Wow.
  10. I was out visiting Buffalo breweries yesterday. One of them had the Golf Channel on. It was talked about, but there was no footage shown. I wonder if it wasn't a televised event.
  11. It can't repair the same until the grass has regrown. Pro greens are super smooth and predictable. The areas he damaged won't play the same as the rest of the green until a full repair including regrowth has occurred. It definitely changes how that spot plays. It has the potential to affect someone's score. He definitely earned that DQ. Must have been one helluva meltdown.
  12. Ruins the playing surface for everyone behind him. It is a major faux pas.
  13. Man, that sounds like so many Ryan Miller sound bites from the post Drury era.
  14. Turgeon was a highly skilled player. Jack still has a bit to go before he becomes Pierre Turgeon. Pierre was expected to be a savior at a time shortly after the team was torn down for a mess of draft picks. It wore Pierre down and led us to needing to make a change of scenery trade. The similarities to now are hard to ignore.
  15. It never left. The league tightened up as it does every year and what was working well enough isn't enough anymore.
  16. Almost as if he's losing his love for the game....
  17. That makes a helluva lot more sense than "we aren't trading assets because the last GM did a lousy job of it". A good manager manipulates the plan when the environment changes. I'm glad to see that he recognizes the value in maintaining a goal for these guys.
  18. I've only seen a little on this. And if what I've seen is accurate, I can't really fault the decision. I mean, if Russia isn't abiding anyway, it's not a working treaty. I'll need to read more on this. Strange that the man doesn't believe his intel when they counter his policy stance but he'll belive them now.
  19. Ive wanted Brassard in blue and gold since Hect was our #1 center. I’ll admit, I have no idea what his game has been like lately.
  20. Although someone may find it political, that was nothing more than a bad marriage joke.
  21. Man, do I dislike seeing Elie’s name in the lineup projections. Can’t wait for the time when we don’t have contract space for an Ellis/Nolan/Elie.
  22. I don't either. I think he has value. Especially on PK. But he has had a tough season compared to recent. Said the same about Bogo last season.
  23. There is some real dissonance between the idea that we soft tanked and Botteril's reactions to last seasons losing. I tend to side with, playoffs weren't expected but it also wasn't intended that they were so awful either. I'm not 100% convinced of his ability to fill the bottom 2 lines and bottom pair of a team. He's had two swings and two misses at big lower half roster changes as far as I can tell.
  24. Agreed. At that point in the season, good teams should have been separating from bad teams. The expectation absolutely should have been playoffs at that point.
