  1. Totally. This loss is 100% on Tokarski last night. CBJs second and OT goals were absolutely horrible. Should have been a BUF 3-1 or at least a 3-2 victory. 🤮
  2. OK, got it, gheesh. So no update then? 🙄
  3. Any update on Mitts? This guy just cannot stay healthy, my god. Too early to cut/waive this dude or what? Hate to say that because we hardly ever see him play, but man, its getting old.
  4. I'll be at the game tonight. Buffalo hasn't won once at the Fortress (T Mobile Arena) yet. Time to change that pronto! I was at the Sabres Road Crew Alumni party last night. I talked to Kevyn Adams a bit. I asked him jokingly who was starting in net tomorrow, Marty Biron? He laughed at that, but he said ANDERSON should be getting the start. Also, got to meet the legend, Rick Jeanneret too. Chatted for a bit, great guy. Also talked to Clint Malarchuk, Jason Dawe (DAWESOME!), JP Dumont, Marty Biron and Duffer. Brad May was there too and even the trainer George Babcock. My wife said; "You know you're a real Sabres fan when you even know who the freaking trainer is!" Hahaha So true. LETS GO BUFFALO!
  5. Well, at least the Sabres made up for it after this garbage from Chris Neil 2007. 15 years later 😄
  6. From the ATHLETIC today: Second most in the league behind Montreal this season. JUST BRUTAL!
  7. Seriously. What the heck happened to Anderson? Did he really get hurt that bad? I get that he's 40, but there hasn't been any good info on what his problem/injury is. So disappointing and frustrating. He was HOT to start the season too. What a bummer.
  8. Good call. Kind of like "MAN GAMES LOST" stat.
  9. Subban month to month now? What the heck happened?
  10. Nylander never went to the hard areas to score and he seemed to never battled for pucks much. A perimeter player and the Sabres got a "F" for the draft choice. But the return was definitely a upgrade with Henri Jokiharju in my book. So Buffalo won that trade.
  11. So does he suck or does the defense suck? I still can't figure it out. One thing for sure, Subban sucked in Vegas.
  12. Insurance ads number 1 for sure. Followed by prescription drugs. "Don't take this medication if you have high blood pressure, liver problems, or you suffer from kidney stones and love to eat at Long John Silvers!"
  13. Yeah I agree. What do you think has more weight for a players career? Win the Stanley Cup or Olympic Gold? I'd pick The Cup every time. Sure, playing for your country is of high importance, but you gotta think Lord Stanley is number one above all else.
  14. Well it certainly won't be the next game vs NYRangers. They are going to kick the crap outta the Sabres unfortunately.
  15. Good question. I like to bet on a game once in awhile. Makes it more interesting. I'll throw a $20 parlay on a three teamer. That's about the extent of it. Usually pays about $85 - $150 depending on how many underdogs I took. I'm sure there are degenerate gamblers all over the place though spending crazy money!
  16. The Ducks line of Zegras, Milano and Rakell gave The Golden Knights huge problems a couple games ago. I don't think its gonna matter who's in net for the Sabres. Plus, Buffalo's Defense has been terrible as we've all seen. I'm taking Anaheim giving 2 goals on the point $pread tomorrow. They will easily cover that.
  17. Subban played pretty good in Vegas, but the Knights have a solid defense unlike Buffalo. Still, Dell is terrible, so this would be a slight upgrade.
  18. Right. Don't forget the other Trivia answer: What team gave up the first Hat Trick to Seattle? Why, the Buffalo Sabres of course!
  19. He's kinda a long(er) shot to make it, but I really think Linus Weissbach is gonna turn heads. He's sneaky fast with a good shot and just the type of guy who can fill out your third line.
  20. Hopefully JOKER gets back in the lineup ASAP. I thought this was a interesting quote from Mike Harrington today: "I doubt you're going to see any big moves out of Rochester. It's not time for Jack Quinn or JJ Peterka, yet. Nor Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. It might be worth giving Casey Fitzgerald a look on defense instead of Butcher, who is showing why New Jersey was so willing to dump him for a few bags of pucks." I agree with Harrington on this. The brutal Butcher seems slow and why not give Fitz a shot at the Sabres lineup? He's been doing great down in Rochester. Thoughts?
  21. Nice pass there, and johnny buries it. Great shot. Alot of hard skating all over but no sustained pressure in the offensive zone. Ugly.
