  1. It's baffling that he is still not in the HOF. Every game I went to at the AUD in '92, either him or LalalalalaFontaine had a hat trick. It was wild! Patty had so many assists to Mogilny that year it was awesome.
  2. 2017 not 2019 and 6 years not 4. Meanwhile the Sabres... 53 years and counting😠(yeah i know, '75 and '99). The hockey gods hate us!
  3. I love this one. Its perfect. The other reason its great is that we won't have to award the CUP winner in friggin June! It should be over by mid May. Of course the owners and league won't agree to that because money money money money$$$.
  4. Absolutely! Terrible call. Instead, we're going to Quadruple Ooooooooverrtime!
  5. Atlanta has had two chances at this. The answer is NO!
  6. Glad Delaware North is on the out because most of their food was awful for a long time. Nice to get some new blood in there and feature more WNY favorites. The only downside is the prices will be going even higher, unfortunately. Allegiant Stadium for the Raiders is crazy pricey on the concessions and get your checkbook ready for those PSLs$$$$$$$$$$$$ to get your season tix.
  7. May the playoffs evade them for seasons to come. It would be glorious!
  8. Well it sure isn't Pittsburgh! 🤣 It feels so good as a hockey fan to finally see those bastards out of the Playoffs (Capitals too). From WGR this morning: "As you look ahead to next year, Caufield said there are numerous holes that have to be made up this offseason, and they’ll have to do it with limited salary cap room. They’ll also have a few albatross contracts to deal with: - Mikael Granlund: Five points (1+4) in 20 games, $5 million - Jeff Carter: 38-years-old, a minus-16, $3.125 million - Jeff Petry: 35-years-old, 31 points (5+26) but inconsistent, $6.25 million They have just over $63 million already committed to next season, according to CapFriendly, and that’s with free agents Tristan Jarry and Jason Zucker, as well as restricted free agents Alexander Nylander and Drew O’Connor. Plus, after next season Jake Guentzel becomes an unrestricted free agent. “They are multiple moves away,” Caufield said. “You even hear players, Evgeni Malkin saying they were faster than them. They are not built properly, they are multiple moves away. They are multiple players away to compete."
  9. To avoid the paywall on TBN, once the article opens up, quickly "SELECT ALL", then "COPY". You must do this very fast before the paywall subscribe comes up. Once copied, open up a text program ( I use TextEdit on Apple Mac) and paste. Just increase the font size and you're in business. No pics or anything but at least you can read the articles. I suppose on a PC, MS Word program would work. Enjoy. GO SABRES!!
  10. Lyubushkin had the tying goal on his stick when he was all alone in the slot, 3rd period. He ripped a good one but unfortunately, Stuart Skinner was a brick wall.
  11. Sorry if this was mentioned already, but did anyone watch the Ducks TV broadcast with the streaking black puck line when the teams were on the powerplay? So freaking annoying. Like were back to the glowing puck days! Just stop it!
  12. Since JJ Peterka is a healthy scratch tonight, would it be wise to send him down to the Amerks for a bit and call up someone else (Biro, Rousek or Weissbach)? Seems to me he needs to reload, get some scoring confidence back. I'm not sure his waiver eligibility so I could be wrong. Anyway, just a thought.
  13. Triumph was always my mini Rush. I liked a lot of their stuff. I'll check it out and thanks for the heads up SDS!
  14. You mess with the Cobra, you get the fangs.
  15. I'll be there tonight looking for The Sabres first win in T Mobile Arena. No wins since inception (2017). Time to break that streak!! LETS GO BUFFALO!!
  16. Let's hope the penalties stay at a minimum. 7 last night is way too much. Gotta admit, 3 of those penalties were complete garbage calls. I think Larkin fell on his own and they call tripping on MULE. Cmon!! And I'm not talking about the 5 on 3 late in third. Those were legit calls. This was in the second period If I recall.
  17. If I don't ever see Pilut on the ice again that would be fine by me. Bryson is way better than him IMO.
  18. My top 3: Whistler BC, Jackson Hole WY and Arapaho Basin CO. I also enjoy Mammoth CA, Kirkwood (Tahoe) CA, Alta UT, Palisades Tahoe (formally Squaw Valley) and Deer Valley UT. THE WEST IS THE BEST!
  19. Easily the best hockey movie ever made. Probably seen Slap Shot over 50 times, no joke. Just fantastic. R.I.P. Mr. Duncan, aka Jim Carr.
  20. This was the number 1 illegal site to go to but now you need a VPN account to access it in North America. They got wise.
