Right about now, I'd say just staying home on game day would help.

Moulson, Kane and Gionta - The reason we're last. Granted, I never for a second thought this year would be a playoff year, but these guys have 16 goals between them, halfway through the season. If you were telling me, this was the grand total between Stafford, Ellis and Nathan Gerbe four years ago, I'd have believed you, but now? Pathetic, and inexcusable.

I have to admit, I think all of those guys are playing well, with the exception of Kane, who so far looks like he doesn't fit into whatever system we're pretending to play. Also, guys like Foligno, Moulson and Gionta just aren't playing at an NHL level, simple as that. Not sure how I feel about the D and goaltending, but I do know I'm not happy with basically half the forwards on this team.

Am I the only one utterly indiferrent whenever Macus Foligno is on the ice?

A little Defense would go a long way too.

Same thing here, albeit on a smaller scale - You have guys thumping drums and chanting, no matter how the home team is doing.

All Golisano did was open his wallet, and watch as Darcy lucked into two years of no-touch hockey. The second the game reverted to what it used to be, Darcy was as clueless as ever, and Golidano wasn't interested enough in the franchise to care about anything other than what he could sell it off for. At least the Pegula's *seem* emotionally invested in the franchise, something Golisano never was.

Caught the game delayed on NHL Center Ice half an hour ago, was ready to turn it off after 7 mins into the 3rd, but DAMN - What a 3rd period! Only sad Rick didn't make the trip to call the game.

Darcy's "core" consisted almost entirely of "non-Lindy Ruff" players. Meaning, none of them were terribly hardworking, or focused on playing well without the puck, and around their own net. That mess was on Darcy, 100% - Too bad the coach is usually the first to go, in those cases.

I just need to add : I was absolutely blown away, felt like I was 11 years old again for two hours. It'll never win an oscar, but I couldn't care less :w00t:

Now tell us how you really feel? Yeah, Miller wasn't the second coming of Dominik Hasek, but he was hardly the most overrated goalie of all time, either. He was an above average goalie, capable on going on extended hotstreaks, but I never thought he was worth that ridiculous contract they gave him.

Thank the lord, they sent him down last season.
