The curse of Jack is happening Vegas... they lost again... to Bastan... Vegas sits 1 point out of not making the playoffs and three teams within 2 points of them including Dallas which has two games in hand.

Good a list as any, though I would add Psyk as a Sabre at least short term 1-2 more years

Not sure about Fitz... he seems to have bit more size and grind than Bryson and could be partnered with Samuelson for a while... they seem to mesh well together

Gonna be interesting next year as Sabres mature and draft picks come of age... Adding Power next year, Johnson a year or two later... injuries... I keep Hayden, dump Eakin with Quinn and Peterka stepping up the number 1 pick assuming forward this year and the other 2 RHD in first round... Hinistroka and Girgenson coming back.... Sabres will finally have some competition on both sides of the puck you can see the makings of a good young team. Now if one of the young goalies can step up... who knows.

Generally agree... been wondering since I have seen Bryson lug the puck up ice with speed if he wouldn't make a good third or 4th line center or winger. Guy is tough in the corners, has a decent shot and has the speed to play one of the those positions. Get a goaltender first and then do it.

Paul may score a bit more... but yeh those two imo are a wash

Yup, but only this plus two more shifts at my part-time job. My wife had her fellow charge nurse retire and he schedule changed. I worked with my job so I am going to do basically the same schedule minus my monday double. I will have Saturday day off, I work Saturday morning starting at 11p Fri, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday day as well as Thursday day. Working doubles on Wednesdays and Fridays and Saturday morning. Gonna be nice to have basically a 4 day weekend. My Friday's will still suck.

I just read through this stuff and gotta think the Sabres are establishing a young core right now... Sure Power, Johnson and this year's top pick likely to be added, but I think and repeat think it'l be Tuch, Krebs, and Thompson, tbd Mitts if he ever gets over his injury bug... I could see Quinn and Peterka joining that crowd and forcharacter guys I do like me some Rasmus Asplund, and Jankowski. I hope that Girgenson sticks around and possibly Okposo, but could see either being moved along with Olofsson. TBD Biro On D I like the Fitzgerald-Samuelson pairing and think that could be a thing for a while. Obviously Dahlin and Power... the question for me is Jokiharju... I just don't see the toughness needed for a playoff run and would move him for the right return. I would rather see if one of Bryson, if he develops further, Johnson or a first rounder steps up... Gonna need 7 D anyway given injuries. Goalies... who the hell knows. Hopefully at least 1 of the young 3 do something... but gonna need to find a vet to split time and betting it isn't Anderson given his age.
