Could you imagine if they played this live before and during breaks. Crowd would go nuts! Get a real string section at the stadium. -

The PA Christmas Card thread, AKA, Dr. Mr. Pegula
North Buffalo replied to Wyldnwoody44's topic in The Aud Club
Dear Mr and Mrs TPegs, I am a doubting Thomas stuck in the last 6 years of negative Nancy depression that re-reached a crescendo upon the Sabres going down 4-1 to the Burgh the other night. I want to change my ways and after that glorious comeback in which I did not believe, I have seen all the ghosts of Christmas past my heart grew a few sizes. I now believe! I would like to generously offer myself to thee to carve your Christmas dinner appropriately dressed in top hat with a black tailed jacket. I will supply the wine of your choice because mine is (whine) no longer part of my joyous heart and thank you from the bottom of my soul. Merry Christmas! Sincerely Yours, PASabreFan (A Happy Go Lucky Fan... One Day at a Time) -

Maybe the early 70s teams as far as talent and being young. But the D on the back end now are all better skaters. They have some toughness too with Bogo Risto and McCabe as well as Dhalin nasty. They play physical nice blend of size, more holes up front talent scoring wise but you can see it coming. If TT and Mitts can pick it up add in an Oloffson, Nyls and Pilut and woah this team might really be able to light the lamp! -
Rasmus Dhalin to Jake McCabe for November

Disagree, dont think he was outworked made some very good decisions along the wall did a lot less attempts at rope e dope and pushed it deep. Even appeared to catch himself one time and made a simple play I think it was before he was set up for shot that went over the net. No he wasnt perfect and its not getting out worked but learning how to use his leverage with his tall frame. He is a little bit awkward at times. But I saw great progress last night and a more mature game.

Didnt have to chose between my family and school... money and I and my Mom didnt get along... she constantly threatened me with it so I got a job at school and got free tuition 3/4 time as well as paying for my rent and living expenses. Didnt have to hear it from her again or explain jack to her. Best thing I ever did.

ESPN Pittsburgh Penguins forward Derick Brassard returned to the ice Saturday for the first time in nearly a month. Brassard was in the lineup to face his former team, the Ottawa Senators, after missing the past nine games with a lower-body injury. Pittsburgh lost 6-4. Brassard has five points in nine games this season -- his first full year in Pittsburgh. The Penguins acquired Brassard from the Senators last season as part of a three-team deal that also involved the Vegas Golden Knights. Saturday's game was Brassard's first in Ottawa since the trade. The injury news wasn't all positive for Pittsburgh on Saturday, as star Sidney Crosby missed his second straight game with an upper-body injury. Crosby is considered day-to-day but is expected to miss a week with the injury that coach John Sullivan said is not a concussion.
