Flat tire on the bike this morning (luckily found in the garage, not on the road). Now i need to change the tire if I'm going to make my camping trip this weekend. At least I have the replacement tire already, but not the time to do the swap.

While kinda amusing, it's a pretty bad show. I seem to remember people getting mildly up in arms when Tyler Ennis had the wrong logo (Panthers, maybe?) on the jumbotron in Raleigh during all-star weekend. My bet is it was an honest mistake though, not a political statement.

I think the US Soccer orgs are one of very few that have the cash to seriously field a women's team. The rest are either state-sponsered or those heartwarming stories about how they work 9-5 jobs and practice on the weekends and nights.

Those sports are on your extended cable from time to time if you look around for them. I prefer the even odder stuff, like Men's field hockey.

Ying and yang, I bought an engagement ring over the weekend. :)

And not even for Rock and Roll. I'm not sure I believe that. Maybe one of my closest 20-30 friends gives a rat's ass about Minor-league football. He's a Penn State guy, oddly enough, but I have't asked him about it yet. Everyone else doesn't seem to care.

Great book. I've read a bunch of his other stuff. It's not as tight as Snow Crash, but generally quite good. Right now: Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court. Getting into it, just need more time. Next up: Inheritance (the fourth (and hopefully final) book in the Eragon series), just to finish it up. They're not *bad* books, but being written by a teenager they show some simpleness. The characters are generally very good or very bad.

One of these bands is not like the other ones, one of these bands in not the same.

I thought it really was a joke, although that could be because I was thinking of the show Mantis or Manhunt. :)

Yeah, I kinda knew that's what that link was going to be. I really like Chick-fil-a, but I stopped eating there a few years ago due to the management's views. So be it.

OK, maybe I don't like German beer. :)

I always thought I didn't like german beer, but it turns out I don't like beer transported from Germany. German styles brewed locally aren't bad at all.

I find the typical Brittish ales to be the same thing vs. a nice American pale ale, stout, or IPA. (Thinking Tetleys, the various RAF-named ones, etc. vs. anything from Victory Brewing) :P Now, if you're talking about the American beer that you see in England (Bud and Rolling Rock, if I recall correctly), you're completely right. The Brittish beer you get here is pretty sad as well (Newcastle, Bass, and sometimes Boddingtons for the most part). Manchester Star, though, mmmmmm.... :)

Yes. Buffalo isn't loaded with local breweries, but I'd put some American microbrews up against anything I've had from Europe. If nothing else: http://bluemonkbflo.com/the-taps/ (they're a bad example though, since they do a lot of imports)

Now if you want to talk about some slander/libel....

Sulzer played pretty well with Ehrhoff for the weeks he was here, I'm not sure if someone would be better in that slot, but like the FES line, you don't break things that work willy-nilly.

What's the process for moving back up? I assume you been champions each year since?
