A year or two I left a couple bottles in the fridge for over a year and it was fine. Not sure about actually cellaring it though. If any of the Buffalo locals haven't tried it, go check out the Pizza Plant over on Main St in Williamsville (first light off the 90/290 exit). Good food (Buffalo pizza shop style) and 10-12 taps of interesting and fairly obscure beers. Bear Double Rocket, Dogfish Chicory Stout, and a couple others a few nights ago. I want to give a shout out to a nice little beer app, untappd. A friend coaxed me into trying it and it's mildly fun to catalog various beers as I drink them. Alex is very proficient, but doesn't much 'soul' or 'heart' in his playing. I guess it depends on how you rate things. Errrr, Alex is #98 in the above link.

I've been to a few in a bunch of different kinds of venues, always put on a good show. Venues: bar, concert hall, outdoor rock show, outdoor kids show, and (I kid you not) a Barnes and Noble bookstore. They were touring to support the kids' books they wrote/recorded.

Missed most of the Pietasters last night, but the Slackers were F'N Fantastic. Plus, I lost a little weight, I need to do the drink and dance like an idiot workout more often.

Speaking of which the undead hand is awesome, even if it's sadly apropos.

I have four really cool things I've been invited to this weekend, in four different cities (Philly, Buffalo, NYC, and Finger Lakes). I can only do one. I'm going to miss a party, The Slackers in NYC, and 'The Twelve Bars of East Aurora' bar crawl since I've already paid for the all day winery/brewery limo tour of Cayuga Lake.

Two places in the Philly area I've found: Fox and Hound, King of Prussia McFadden's on 3rd in Old City/Northern Liberties

I probably should have gotten a Legacy, the WRX is awful on gas (24MPG on average), maybe 27MPG on a long highway trip @75.

This is going to sound pretty snobbish, but in most cases if you figure that 7 of 10 random people know/like the product there's something way better out there. My theory is when companies start worrying about big advertising, they stop worrying about making a quality product.

I get my car back in an hour or so, I won't be driving this any more. It's not a bad car, really, just doesn't really fit my style (such as it is).

A local friend asked me the other day how we haven't torn the stadium down brick by brick after seeing the Bills lose all these years.

I think it's the turkey, I'm in the same boat.
