  1. As discussed in the other Hellebuyck thread, it's unlikely he's going to sign for a short contract, so we either pay a bunch for 1 year, pay a bunch for 1 year + a big$ extension. If Levi didn't look promising, maybe. As it is, a player with a shorter situation (i.e. Gibson but good) would make more sense.
  2. To be fair, given Dahlin's play at the time of his bridge, I'm not sure if the team would have even offered one. He was not looking like a sure-thing D back then.
  3. Fair, although generally you give someone a pass for not winning a cup after (checks notes) 2.34 seasons in the NHL. You sure got him on not winning the NCAA the year he was there, though! 😉
  4. Cozens is working his zone 2 HR training today, tomorrow it'll be sprints.
  5. Don't worry, that's not Cozen's video. Cozens is out of frame pacing the moose.
  6. Eggs were around long before chickens evolved.
  7. Depends on where you are. In Philly, we'd order stuff at 4PM and it'd be on the doorstep at 7AM. That was when Amazon was doing the gig thing and we lived in a townhouse farm. I assume the early bird got up, picked up all the deliveries since they're all in one place. In Ithaca, it's never that quick, although it's still within two days for most things. It's as annoying as hell, but I did get used to it. I will say my new one (after the previous was recalled) is way better. Somehow it doesn't feel *as much* like it's trying to kill me.
  8. [Rob Ray throws down his headset] Mutters, "Now I seen everything".
  9. How else are hospitals going make sure to turn a profit?
  10. Murray nixing that trade to Buffalo may be one of the best hings to happen to the Sabres, lol.
  11. You'd think that while they were editing the picture together they color over the wrong cat on his shirt.
  12. I think EJohns retires, going out with a cup win is a fine way to wrap up his career.
  13. +1, I'm generally disappointed whenever I have subs that the bread is kinda mush. DiBella's helped Wegman's set up their sub shop, so there's a solid heritage there. Primo Hoagies is the best bread of any sub I've even had and probably the best cold cuts too. Focused in Southeast PA, but I see they've been expanding to Pittsburgh, NE PA, Albany NY, and a handful in other parts of the country.
  14. Yeah, I see it too after you pointed it out. That's really cool, I love Skinner's skating.
  15. Who knows what will happen, but this *could* turn out to be a critical signing. Not necessarily for the on-ice play, but imagine having a guy in the room saying, "when I was in Colorado in this exact spot, we did *this* and my name is on the Cup".
  16. I hit my current height at 13-14. My partner grew 2 inches at 20 after being the same for years. I wouldn't bet either way.
  17. I didn't expect him to slide, I had him 201 on my board. 😉
  18. Is this his second go-around in the draft? I thought you had to be undrafted twice to be UFA.
  19. Picking all the Big D lottery tickets.
  20. "He didnt seen, errr... Backsie coming on the blind side."

  22. We do control whether we see your posts, so kinda the same thing. 😉
  23. And given where the Sabres are with assets, this may be the right call. Fill the pipeline via picks, and handle now by trading current talent surplus (forwards) to fill the holes. Sure, they could trade picks for players too, but then they'd end up trading the surplus players for picks years from now taking even longer to fill the pipeline.
  24. Is this going to be one of those Keith Gretzky/Wayne Primeau things were the Sabres get the lesser brother? Or just the same name.
