I wish there was some alternate world where we actually knew every injury. Two days ago I just assumed the arm would have to be amputated.

The Sabres might as well be in the same exact spot they were in last year. There’s a simple solution moving forward… don’t lose 13 in a row, or whatever it was. I just want to see them consistently go through 3 game blocks going 2-1 each time. That will take care of everything.

The Ellis reactions around here are very strange. I guess the last 14 years have taught us nothing. That was a great moment, but we need a lot more before it means anything.

They’re in this spot because they got better than expected results. Now they need some time for things to sort themselves out. It’s not the situation of the last couple years.

This would be, what, at least the third time they’ve been connected to this stuff? Nope, nothing to see here.

I thought shoulder last night, but after watching that again, he's not favoring that at all as he leaves. It has to be something forearm/wrist.

How long is the season? He can be out of there right before the summer heat really kicks in.

The team doesn’t need to move on. The people complaining about the contract have to.

The rehab stint maxes out at 14 days. If Lyon keeps up his pace, Ellis may very well only get 1 more start over that time. I don’t know if the picture will be any more clear at that point. I’m seeing a 3 headed monster in our future… at least for a couple weeks while the dust settles.

I want nhl history. Get Ellis the goal.

Why are we even the least bit concerned about the Georgiev contract? They’re at 48 total contracts so that’s not getting in the way of anything. If they really need to make space later, that will be an easy fix. He’s not going to be taking significant time away from anyone with the amerks. They bought a $2 dollar powerball ticket and lost. It’s time to move on.
