Let's not bring Buffalo into this. I don't think very many teams would do as much as they have this year. I feel like only Toronto has done this level of in-season overhaul in recent years. But this one feels far less forced than what the Leafs did a few years back.

I’d imagine Jokiharju winds up gone too. That one seems like it would be a pick deal or maybe some low prospect. So there could be that one spot available. B it then again, I have a hard time believing Gilbert was ever in the way of someone who might be ready this very second.

Why are we equating the 2nd round pick to the defenseman? Each of the players Buffalo acquired have the higher ceiling. That's the price of the 2nd round pick here.

Bernard-Docker looks like he's getting a lot of NHL time. There probably more blue line shuffling coming up if this goes through.
