  1. Did they put a double T in that name just to mess with people?
  2. And then there’s this. They’re stuck with Johansen because he says he’s hurt.
  3. Could you imagine sitting down to what to what you think is going to be another thrilling connect the dots experience… and it winds up just being a straight line I had some great private message conversations with him years back. I want to go back and see if they still exist. It was fun stuff about the youth hockey when he was growing up.
  4. You know the best part? This “you don’t know football” take was made while talking about someone’s social media habits.
  5. If I was a child of the social media era, I would be messing with people’s heads constantly. The more cryptic the better and it would be a daily thing.
  6. I feel like it’s usually pretty easy to spot the difference between a language barrier and just plain not knowing any better. I don’t know that your dialect suggestions qualify as a language barrier, but I’m comfortable making that association.
  7. Who knew that a late night mid-feed post could actually educate? My one contribution for the year has been made. And on a completely different note, it’s not a grammar thing but I get a kick out of seeing a few people in here who don’t understand the concept of hyperbole.
  8. I recently took a little jab at someone for calling a player a “duel threat”. It got me thinking about how there are some recurring posting habits around here that always have me rolling my eyes. We don’t need any public shaming here, I’m more looking for some subtle shaming instead. I won’t name any names, but you know who you are. So here we go: 1. A certain poster named after a type of hair extension constantly says “noone”. I don’t know if he or she thinks it is old English after spending too much time at ye olde pub at 12pm, but that’s not a word. 2. Sticking to the hair theme, a certain large hairy alien regularly talks about things that he/she “would of” done. I can’t even think of some witty way where you could actually use those two words together. Maybe if I would’ve had more sleep last night. There you go. Even the greatest of detectives can’t possibly know who I am talking about. I’m sure there are many other typos and grammar oddities out there, maybe even from me. Let’s hear them. Or feel free to pick something out from this very post. Like I said, limited sleep.
  9. I’d imagine that this is a Granato call, not Adams. The coach needs to be making this kind of decision at this point.
  10. Or the vast majority of the time that someone tries to make another teams backup their starter through free agency.
  11. I’ve been playing Gotham Knights lately after it came out maybe 2 years ago. What a steaming pile.
  12. A pair of barn burners tonight.
  13. I would just like to remind you that you’re defending a generation that walks around in public wearing pajama pants and crocks.
  14. That’s not what happened at all. He threw a blatantly illegal hit and caused a multi-game injury. The two are additive when it comes to suspensions. This isn’t a change in approach. They can’t do that without getting in a huge fight with the union.
  15. They’re all CBA matters and they don’t want to open that can of worms. But really, what we are seeing right now is our gambling overlords playing games. Of course the league has no issue with them.
  16. You know why they don’t care? Probably the only way to fix it is to pay players during the playoffs.
  17. I’m thinking I can remove the heads and just sell the mullet. That’s awesome. What do do with all the bodies? Complaint.
  18. Anyone interested in a Jagr bobble head? I found 18,000 of them in my backyard. Must have fallen off a truck.
  19. It’s the combination of intent and an injury. I’d imagine it winds up as 2 games for each. It’s not a break at all from their usual approach.
  20. Read it again. That’s not what the post says.
  21. All of the leagues are so in bed with the brokers. They (the brokers) can’t have anyone encroaching on their territory. I’m a bit surprised that our gambling overlords haven’t completely taken over the fantasy league game yet.
  22. And on top of that, it the. Allows the owner to pay it as he says he will. You can’t do that for a player. They don’t like cap circumvention.
  23. I don’t care enough to read through it, but how is something that is “state-required” a thing throughout the NHL? It sounds like a NY thing. But again, I’m out of market and will never buy a ticket up there, so I’m not going to read the whole thing.
