  1. If he's above average, I'm going o-line with the first pick and protecting him. We have posters here who were still in diapers the last time we had above average QB play. There isn't much of that out there, so if we actually have one, we need to protect him. That and if they really want to run this ground and pound game in the next few years, they need a lot of help there.
  2. She'd stab any guy who even looked at her the wrong way. If that's your thing then ok, but I'd be keeping my distance.
  3. He seems to pick one guy each year to rank 10 spots lower than everyone else, and another guy 10 spots higher than everyone else has him. Didn't he drop Hanifin out of his top 10 at some point?
  4. His passing game, you know, the thing a QB is supposed to do, really worries me. Then again, I think it is very much a product of his lack of protection. We're screwed there though, it's not going to get any better this year.
  5. At first I read that as "Carol" and I was ready to punch you.
  6. I'm at the point where I kind of hope that he did survive so that they can bring him back, only to kill him for real.
  7. And that woman that Abe saved at the construction site last year was out there too. I'd imagine the two of them are together with a few others somewhere, on their way back home.
  8. Jesus himself couldn't complete passes behind that line (well that and he's more of a goalie anyway). At this point they need to spend every single draft pick on the o-line (except maybe the one they use on a QB),
  9. And where was the rest of the group that was trying to herd the walkers? There were more than just that group of 5 or 6 that were with Glenn. Did a few more rush back to town with Morgan? Rick called out to that Tobin guy on the radio a few times. Where did he wind up?
  10. They got it right. There's no way to overturn the ref's call.
  11. Yeah, I usually stick with it for 15 minutes or so. I have no idea what they're trying to do here, but if they have him walk away from that, it's going to take one hell of a stretching of logic.
  12. So you used to be a young girl and now you're a tree?
  13. Wow
  14. No, I think that's everyone.
  15. Could you just tell us who is playing instead?
  16. If it was a comfort thing, you wouldn't take a guy who made a living getting punched in the face and put him in a position where he has to talk a lot. :bag:
  17. dEnnis, you've been presented with the perfect opportunity: Fantasy Draft! Each of you picks one, you raise them according to your own plan and then see which turns out better. You let the wife pick first because, well, it's only fair. It would work well with identicals, but hey, you play the cards you're dealt. Winner gets $20.
  18. Get him some playing time before he gets some at the NHL level? Yeah, that's exactly how it works. Ulmark has 3 games under his belt, so he's not exactly been smothered with ice time either.
  19. My random thought of the day after hearing some coverage this morning: The Democrat party seems to have gotten to the same point the Republicans were at 4-8 years ago. If they don't win this one, I don't have the slightest clue who they'll be throwing out there in 2020. The Republicans at least have a few younger guys out there who are very likely to be in the spotlight for years to come. Is there any young, future of the party-type out there?
  20. I'm right there with you. I don't know what can be accomplished at this point. If we all agree that we paid too much, does that magically re-order the 2014 draft and we suddenly have a roster with 7 different players?
  21. That's exactly what it is. I'd even consider the possibility that Lieuwen gets the Rochester start tonight and then is called back up to start Saturday (depending on how he plays, obviously).
  22. I'd be curious to see how many teams are putting their color guy down in between the benches like Ray is. I feel like it hurts the chemistry between two announcers.
  23. I haven't watched a Dallas game in a couple years, but I knew who the top color guy would be the second I saw that list. It's nice to know that some things haven't changed.
  24. The story I'm hearing now is that the mother spanked a kid while the mother-in-law was staying with them, who then called the police. I'm not quite sure if that story adds up or not, but it does sound like that is one of the more interesting in-law dynamics out there.
  25. I stand by my statement, specifically because of the imagery that comes to mind from CV's follow up. If that's not art, I don't know what is.
