It's funny that they play this whole game now at car shops but at the same time a lot of cars out there come with patching kits instead of a donut. So they're placing that decision in the hands of someone who has absolutely no clue what the guidelines are.

It was in the treads, closer to the side, but clearly in the treads. My last punctured tire (back in the Boston area) was in the same exact spot and that one was patched no questions asked. I made the mistake of going to a specialized tire place this time around, of course they'd want to sell a new one. At first they told me they'd patch it, but later their story changed. It was an obvious sales pitch.

I saw the Book of Mormon last night. That was amazing.

You may call it a sweet name, but the dude is destined to be called Gloria his whole life. I call that a curse.

It's all about Darcy, admit it.

One place tells me my tire can't be patched and I need to buy a new one, the next patches it and then doesn't even charge me. It's funny how obvious some places can be with trying to screw you over.

I can do both.

Oops, I just noticed the typo in my post. I meant to say that I'm going the week after the superbowl, so I think the preliminary odds should be in place by then. Neither will be long shots. I'm only looking at throwing away a small about of money on something stupid. I bet I wind up passing on it completely, but I'm at least entertaining the thought right now.

Last year I set off on a mission to be super active at the gym. It started well but then a really bad case of the flu sidelined me for close to a whole month in late February. I never got back to the level I wanted to be after that. This year, we start again, but it figures that I'm already under the weather to start out the year. Screw that though, I'm fighting through it after work today. No excuses this time around. I could be in far worse shape than I am right now, but I want to get back to where I was about 5 or so years ago. We talk about starting to have kids, so I want to be as healthy as humanly possible for any of those who may show up in the shrader household in the future.

I'm a little early on this since the playoffs are only about to start, but I'll throw the question out there. I'm going to Vegas the week after vacation and I feel like throwing away $10-$20 on a long shot superbowl winner for next year. Any thoughts? I only have two rules for my bet: 1. The team must have a QB 2. Never make any bet involving the Bills I haven't thought too much about it yet, but I'm seriously considering Oakland (or is it LA?). I haven't paid too much attention to them though over the 2nd half.

So now you want to blame David Legwand for all of this? The limits of your witch hunt truly show no bounds.
-
Where was he trying to hide all of that? Wait, don't answer that.

It's all starting to make sense now.

Their dad has been an exec for a few teams in the league for a long time. So this isn't a big surprise. I just wonder if Mike's coaching career will ever take off. He seems like the type.

For me, there should be a rule of thumb for all sports when it comes to jerseys. Most teams need to get back to the brighter colors, especially with where tv technology is at today.

The fact that he continues to say he wasn't trying to hit him is really annoying. No ones buying it Brad. Hell, you watch the NHL video and he makes the same exact motion he did in those previous hits. He doesn't need to admit it, but please drop that I didn't mean it portion from his comments.

I love his "I was just turning up ice" defense. They should add on a few games just for thinking anyone (i.e. Non-bruin fans) would buy that.

He's got a history of going after knees. Usually he does it along the boards as someone is about to hit him. I remember a very specific one from the Cup final that he got away with. By the way, it's very telling that I never once looked at the number but knew exactly who it was.

Yeah, he didn't quite stack up for me either, especially once the mask came off, not a threatening look at all. The voice didn't work for me either, like a very cheap Vader ripoff. -

I don't think his look matters much right now. He was a giant holographic projection. He could still look like just about anything, especially if that projection is a wizard of is type trick. -
So is Will starting to live in the wild or something?

If we want to be technical, his face probably created that second scoring chance. The puck was going over the net until the tall goof got in the way.

And let's not forget they only found the map because R2 conveniently "woke up". I'm sure we will find out at some point that he was supposed to wait until Rey was ready. -
Just minutes into pregame and I'm already sick of jack Edwards.

I still want to know how Finn with the light saber didn't cut right through that other storm troopers electric stick thing.
