  1. I'd guess that those are the only 3 leagues they officially recognize. The NHL CBA officially defines minor league as the AHL. I would bet that whatever document the AHL runs on has something similar to define the ECHL.
  2. It's not his decision, so I'm glad that he's smart enough to dance around that one.
  3. Everyone knows that's one of the options available in the drink cart. He must not have been happy with those crazy airline prices.
  4. My thoughts exactly. The sun rose this morning yet again.
  5. 320 even actually. I edited it above. If both teams want the guy in the minors, they're better off waiting for them to clear. They can't get sent down until they've cleared through all 30 teams. At the point where they can make the claim, they don't know if the player is going to clear through everyone else.
  6. Funny. That bolded line is key here since he's at 320 exactly. is there some specific meaning to "developmental player" there? It's not used in the other lines.
  7. 328 pro games by my crappy adding skills edit: I must have fat fingered the wrong key. It's 320 exactly
  8. It could just as easily be about have a little more flexibility in what they give Reinhart next year.
  9. This trade is made for the AHL teams. Neither team is going to expect much of anything from these guys at the NHL level.
  10. I'm seeing 320 pro games played, less than what Deslauriers had. I'm not sure what the specific cutoffs are.
  11. Stephen Gionta has a contract with the Islanders.
  12. Doesn't even an AHL contract block him from being able to go to the Olympics? I still don't understand why team USA would even be interested in a player his age.
  13. The firework kids from last Friday were back in the neighborhood again today. It’s time to get my hands on that police report. I’m assuming I’m listed in it.
  14. I know we will never hear it, but I’m still convinced that this has been done for months now.
  15. Can someone refresh my memory as to what kind of time/linemates Rodrigues was seeing prior to injury?
  16. Especially when worded the right way... if Gretzky never scored a single goal, he'd still be the all time leading scorer. Mind-boggling sums it up perfectly.
  17. Hopefully the NHL will approve the new digital captain letters that the team requested. That way they can change the letter based on the on-ice situation.
  18. How difficult would it be to do this? I keep hearing about all these ways to modify them, but I'm curious to see if it's something simple or if you would need someone a bit more mechanically inclined.
  19. Sure, definitely easy. The quickest way to the hotel rooms is often through the casino itself, but that doesn't mean you can't take the longer walk or enter through a different door. I stayed at MGM when I was there and their check in area was definitely setup to immediately funnel you into the casino for a much shorter walk.
  20. Actually, they're taking Eichel off of the PP because he hasn't signed a new deal yet.
  21. Most of the time you're walking through the casino to get to the hotel. There might be some magical boundary that they consider to not be "casino" but you're definitely inside the casino. And as for if they actually do allow guns inside, they're definitely not allowing the guns he used. Wilbur!!!!
  22. He's still filling that role he always has, the 3rd guy who has to fill in occasionally. No one ever notices that guy unless he's a prospect trying to break through (Ullmark).
  23. That's a move that has "Moulson to the pressbox" written all over it.
  24. You wait in a big line to check in and then you take your stuff up to your room. The only difference from any other hotel is that the line is longer. The furthest they go in terms of checking your bag would be if a bellboy (is that still the right title?) happens to notice something odd if they happen to move a bag. With this guy sneaking stuff in, he's going to pass on the bellboy touching his bags. I'm not sneaking stuff in at all, but I'd much rather move my own bag too.
  25. I'd imagine that a golf bag with a travel case would make it very easy to get guns in. No one's going to think twice about that. He'd have to make a couple trips to the car, but again, that seems fairly simple enough. The report I heard was that he had a single citation for something. They didn't say what but it was very minor.
