  1. Not that it means anything for next week, but the 3 A's tonight are Okposo, Girgensons, & Dahlin.
  2. Cozens feeling confident tonight. And now Krebs on the PK w/ Skinner. Who next, Peterka?
  3. Krebs getting a lot of PK time. And a fair amount of it w/ Hinostroza.
  4. Expecting it's Mittelstadt is ahead in the pecking order (he was the 1C in last year's opener, so we know Granato believes in him, though most nobody else around here does).
  5. All 4 lines looking good right now.
  6. Wow, is this feed ever behind.
  7. Interesting, having Quinn on the PK.
  8. Seems that way.
  9. But 28 games isn't a really small sample. It's literally 1/3 of the season. (82/3 = 27.33)
  10. Vinnie on the nice feed from Skinner. 1-0. Sheahan & Bjork can't be too happy about that. 😉
  11. Not on the Sabres website. No data on the Canes website. It is on MSG+ (at least in WNY, no data on other areas).
  12. DTv is NOT showing it on 635-1. And, for those in WNY it is blacked out on NHLN. The work around is it IS available on the MSG+ app.
  13. When Cozens was sent out against McDavid, he had at least Okposo & IIRC Girgensons too. That helps a lot w/ defensive matchups. Like Krebs instincts in the D zone, but don't trust him to win battles against the other team's top lines. He just doesn't have the strength yet. And, at this point, don't want Peterka going against good offensive opponents because he's still learning what his side of the blue line looks like. He was better about it as the season went on, but early in the year he was leaving his own zone like Skinner on speed. If this were 2 years from now, could see you being right. But today, not seeing it.
  14. What he said. It's not a given that the lines will be different on the road, but with the players being fairly interchangeable at this point & a lot of guys being able to play multiple positions; Granato might be able to tweak lines against different opponents to gain favorable, or avoid unfavorable, matchups.
  15. Maybe you'll get lucky & there'll be rain in the forecast so the prices will come down 80%. Oh, wait, this game is being played in Buffalo & not in Baltimore. Nevermind. 😉
  16. Because there was an expansion draft underway. And Muckler exposed him to another expansion draft because he's an idiot & had no idea what he had. Which is also why he gave up a ton for Fuhr, who, to Muckler's credit, he did trade away a couple of years later once he'd twigged onto the fact that Hasek was pretty d*mn good.
  17. As of right now, it isn't showing up on DTv's 635-1. Expecting it'll be there, sometimes they're slow to update the programming in the guide, but wouldn't lose that internet addy just yet.
  18. You want the official trade or the actual trade?
  19. No offense to him at all, but really hoping he doesn't see any action in Buffalo this year. It's been far too long since this was a 2-3 goalie/ season team & they're due. With Anderson in the top 2, can't see them getting through the year entirely on just 2 goalies. But getting by w/ just 3 would be a step in the right direction. (And won't hold a game or 2 for Levi against them. Pretty sure that's already part of the deal to get him to leave NE as soon as the Huskies season is done.)
  20. Exactly. There's a reason the B's rarely send out Bergeron's line against the other team's 4th line. Yes, they could absolutely dominate that, but when they usually outplay &/or dominate their opponent's best line, why waste them there unless it's at the right moment.
  21. Expect that either the lines will be juggled a bit on the road or that line will become the clear 4th line with Cozens getting his ice time upped via PK & 2PP & sliding up into the top 9 late in periods, likely taking Quinn's spot in those instances.
  22. No pride injured. Just responding to a flat out untrue narrative. Every time it gets repeated, will counter with the facts to dispel it. And it gets repeated every 3-4 months. Would expect by now that it wouldn't come up that often, but it still does. And, if his history in Czechoslovakia were known, his results wouldn't have been any more surprising than Roy's or Brodeur's.
  23. Touche.
