Was a great night of hockey for me. Bruins sent packing, Casey sent packing and Chris Tanev, who played his college hockey at RIT is moving on. I don't care for Dallas, but it would be nice to see an RIT product win a cup.

Bummer of an outcome. And yes, Mitts didn’t have his best game tonight.

Start of double OT and I’m still here. The wife took the car home after the first OT. I’m getting a ride home from neighbors.

Me seeing the Stars get jobbed in a game 6 OT:

Mitts himself now looks hurt; he looked lame on the last shift he had in OT and looks hobbled.

Second Avs game in a row I noticed super short shifts for Mitts line. And tonight his line was pretty soft.

I don't think people realize just how horrible a job Granato and his staff did last season when you look at the other coaches who got sacked for poor results. All of the other guys essentially got sunk by terrible goaltending while Granato got very good goaltending with UPL playing close to Vezina level from January on. When you fail miserably with solid goaltending that's as inexcusable and awful a failure as possible. If there was an Anti-Jack Adams award he would deserve to win it unanimously.

Not looking for specific names or anything, but what does Joki and a prospect (preferably Östlund or Rosen) get us up front? Can we get a legit good middle 6 forward? Could adding a pick get us a legit good 3C?

What's Bryson going to cost? He was visibly better this season and has the advanced stats to prove it. I like him in the 6/7 slot for next season. Arguably RJ is good for this, but I think he might benefit with more ROC time.

Yep. Needed 6 assists to top his coach on the all time playoff assist list and ended up with 9. Will be interesting to see how the youthful Firewolves deal with the adversity of a must win game in a sold out enemy barn. Let's Go BAN-DITS!!!!!!!

The last game he was going against 1 of the 2 best FO men in the league - Victor's own TD Ierlan. He was fine that game and good enough again tonight.
