  1. Past hour
  2. seems like a big reason the Sabres are better this year is because they are getting penalty kill saves and mid-late 3rd period saves at a better success rate than the last few years. To boil us down, better goaltending. obvious but true
  3. I get he probably has A LOT on his plate, but he needs to play. He needs hockey
  4. Pretty reasonable today. We got a couple seats in the lower bowl for $70 before fees. I don’t remember seeing them this cheap in the past. The city is distracted by the Jays, nobody wants to see the wheels come off against the Sabres tonight.
  5. This is a very important early season game. Win this game, the team is over 500, winners of 5 of 6 with all 5 wins over divisional foes bringing their divisional record to 5-2. A win also would be the team’s first road win of the season and ultimately validate everything they have done right recently. The team started 0-3 scoring only 2 goals allowing 10 for a - differential. Since then they have scored 22 goals, allowing 13 for a +9 differential. Talk about night and day.
  6. How much are the hockey tickets in Toronto? If question is too intrusive, I understand.
  7. I finished off a 5 day Siemens SITRAIN course in Charleston, SC. I wanted to go to last nights game, unfortunately air travel being as it is, a roughly 4 hour total, including connector flight in Philly turned in to a 10 hr nightmare where I didn’t walk in the house until 7:20pm. I was supposed to land in Buffalo at roughly 2pm. What a disaster AA was, both on the trip down and back, and none of it air traffic controller related. But I did manage to watch the game, what a pleasant surprise by the team. Today I will be fully invested in them, they’re drawing me back in and I like it. GO SABRES!!!
  8. Today
  9. Now dog up the post where you predicted two goals for Samuelsson. That one was way more impressive.
  10. The division kind of sucks at this early stage. I feel like Toronto and Tampa did the same thing last year.
  11. I’d say that was 100% if Hauser had never played a single game with Buffalo. They used 6 goalies that year. The doomsday Georgiev scenario does exist.
  12. Its early in the season of course, but based on how things have gone the last 3-4 years, its kinda odd to see the current order of the division standings, pretty much from top to bottom, after these 8-10 games.
  13. The Sabres are doing something they haven’t done in years - they’re making me want to watch more of them.
  14. OnHockey does. I can send you a link if you want.
  15. The hockey gods will now award the Leafs a 5-1 W for that remark. UNLESS!! Someone on a Toronto forum is equally oblivious to hockey-lore.
  16. I think I’ll be there today. We were going to go to the Jays game, but prices never really budged. Will be my first time at Scotiabank outside of an Alanis Morrisette concert. Sabres will need to win convincingly to beat her performance.
  17. TOR will come out blazing. Sabres better figure out a way to dig deep and hit them with speed, passing, and forechecking. Team defense will mean the difference in this one. Whoever is in net won’t be able to afford letting in a soft goal.
  18. When will people realize fans can do whatever they want b.c they don't actually play the games... they watch for ENTERTAINMENT.
  19. Another win here would be insanely huge Ellis for the win baby! then we get Greenway and Kesseling back next week!
  20. Helenius put on a bit of a show tonight, him Benson, Kozak, Doan are going to be menaces moving forward
  21. lol, exactly. Finally they are starting to take more time with some of these guys. It's the right call.
