The red or the green? 🙂 Hopefully he offered both. The greatest aspect of that beer is that it is supposed to be less than 4% ABV.. Charlie is an icon. Relax, Don't Worry, Have a Homebrew. My reading only went up from there to reading about advanced chemical reactions, etc. I didn't understand it.. just knew what the outcome was. I had a pretty good bottle cleaning setup. "Sterlizing" was never needed. But good cleaning and sanitizing them was. Still that was nothing compared to moving to kegs. I have so many of those sitting around here right now.

Yep, Rousek signed a two year deal in the Swedish league. I’m not terribly surprised about Murray as he’s been at his ceiling for a while now and management may feel he is blocking other prospects at this point. Same may be true for Jobst as well.

You Just Can’t Get This Comedy At Home

As the old adage about golf goes, it reveals character. People in the NY area, especially, have been well acquainted with Trump’s character for decades now. When you purposely stiff thousands of contractors with the deliberate strategy to not pay them, force them to sue, and then have them settle for amounts less than what you originally contracted to pay them, word gets around. Or when you’ve declared bankruptcy a half dozen times, associate with and have Russian mobsters live in your building, and then shortly thereafter switch to an all cash business model because your credit is shot and banks refuse to issue the loans that you bragged about previously, people take notice. Remember when character was the first trait we sought in a president? It amazes me how our American electorate has changed, but it’s no surprise in the least given the media ownership laws we have here. -

Kinda how i felt about araiza with the bills tbh. People feel like getting acquitted means you did nothing wrong, or didn't display poor judgement.

Sabres sign Connor Timmins to a 2 year 2.2 Million Dollar AAV contract

Blindly passing it up the boards to no one in particular leads to turnovers? Who knew?! -
He's not quite at the level of Stephane Beauregard, but Reinprecht was incredibly valuable to the Sabres.

The offseason so far - Are the Sabres better?
dudacek replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
Running Connor Clifton’s numbers for another thread really pounded home a misplaced Sabres narrative. There is widespread belief that Bowen Byram is not good because of his numbers away from Dahlin. And while it’s true that Dahlin elevates Byram (and everyone else) what nobody talks about is the drag created by the other guys. Clifton, Bryson and Samuelsson were black holes I doubt anyone but Dahlin could survive. xGF% from this unholy trinity: 36.6, 40.4, 38.9 Actual GF: 36.6, 40.3, 39.3 Out of 270 NHL defencemen, they ranked 259, 231 and 247 Hanging on to Samuelsson was a questionable decision at best and re-signing Bryson is incredibly hard to defend. At least they dumped the worst offender. It will be interesting to see how Timmins and Kesselring affect team numbers, and the individual numbers of Byram and Power or whether they get sucked into a Marty Wilford vortex. -
Do the Sabres have the worst goaltending in the Eastern Conference?
Drag0nDan replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
Yes - but Hischier played 21 games in 20-21, and hughes was 19 and had 31 points. In 21-22 they used 7 different goaltenders. -

Except Hughes and Hischier are both high-pick 1C capable players. The Sabres don’t have that player in their lineup or in their prospect pool. (And when they broke out for a season with Ruff, the Devils blue line was a solid veteran crew with a completely healthy season from Dougie Hamilton.) -

Connor Clifton’s game under Lindy didn’t actually change much in terms of counting stats and how he was used. Ice time 16:33 -> 16:03 Points 18 -> 16 Hits 204 -> 208 Takeaways 27 -> 26 Giveaways 24 -> 67 Blocked shots 117 -> 116 Possession 44% -> 40% xGF% 41% -> 36.6% GF% 46% -> 36.6% PK GA/60 8.26 -> 8.08 Penalties drawn -7 -> -11 Analytically, he was an absolute mess. He was terrible in his first year and even worse in his second. -

Yeah he should go right next to Ben Bishop and Steven Reinprecht. -
I don’t know if the steal was attempted. Simply got picked off of first.

Yeah, and now everyones reaching for roslovic who's agent is Claude Lemieux, who's son basically said "i'm not playing for buffalo". He was Olofssons agent when they signed him to those deals, but that was restricted free agency so you have a lot less control - and he still seemed to stress short-term deals to get out of buffalo.

When Ruff got to Jersey, the team was insanely young up-front (Bratt, Hughes, Hischier all under 23 - and a few others) and the blue line was pretty poor. Sabres this year tried to improve the blue line, and they need growth from the young forwards in Quinn, Benson, Kulich. -
Effectively, we came to the plate with 2 outs and a man on 1st who after a pitch got caught stealing thus ending the inning.

I feel like the only way they'll try and spend to the cap is approaching the deadline if they're in contention. It's also probably the only time that a player might waive a NTC/NMC to come here so it increases the talent pool, but also usually has increased trade costs. Unrestricted free agency was terrible this year after the majority of players opted to re-up prior, so it was almost like striking out without ever even going up to bat.

When a player falls into Lindy's disfavor the outcome is predictable. The player will see limited ice time or be benched and then sent packing. Both Clifton and Docker fell into this vulnerable category. Lindy seems to be an old school coach who when he makes a judgment on a player, it sticks. There are coaches who try to utilize and maximize talent on hand while there are coaches whose approach leans toward my way or the highway. Taking an overview perspective, from the ownership to the GM's office to the coaching staff in general, everything seems to be third-rate. When your boat is taking on water, how do you stay afloat when the bucket you are using to clear the water out has holes in it? The never-ending cycle of futility. -
Taro has it.

The Grigorenko pick would've been outside the 12 year window he's looking at. And, he did state the last batch of players were those that weren't DIRECTLY stemming from any of those picks. So, can see why he didn't include guys that came into the organization a trade later wouldn't be counted as stemming directly from Compher and the pick that went out for O'Reilly.
-
Isn’t Thompson part of the Compher, Grigorenko - ROR - trade tree? Last I looked Compher (2013)was a 2nd rd pick from the tank era and Grigorenko (2012) was a 1st. Isn’t Johnson, a 1st in 2019, part of the same trade tree?
