  1. Past hour
  2. Other teams add to their top 6. Imagine if we had added 1 top 6 piece, just 1.
  3. How do other teams prepare better for injuries? Serious question. I've heard that we're awful at it and we suck when a key player(s) goes down. So obviously there's proof. I just always thought the roster was so thin, every injury was exacerbated. Is it that teams have a much better 13th or 14th forward on the roster, more/better vets in the AHL that can come right up, they'll sign a FA immediately?
  4. There's as many as 7 defenders that could go top 16 in this draft
  5. Gavin McKenna 1g 4a in 4games (NCAA) Ethan Belchetz 6g, 9pts, 9games (OHL) Ryan Roobroeck 3g, 6pts, 8games (OHL) Mathis Preston 5g, 9pts, 6games (WHL) Nikita Klepov 7g, 13pts, 7games (OHL)
  6. If Power plays, that instantly makes the D pairings far better. Ik a lot are down on him but he's still a + player offensively and basically neutral defensively. I might give him Johnson instead of Timmins because Johnson can stay at home better than Timmins. The forwards are rough. They really needed to add another piece but once again, Adams isn't good at his job and is terrible at imagining there could be an injury. That Doan line probably works if you substitute Helenius from 2027 into it, but alas. Go Sabres. Must win.
  7. Not going to lie, I look really good in Florida Panthers gear.
  8. Today
  9. How many shutout losses in a row does this team need to rack up before the coach/gm are fired?
  10. Let’s go, boys. Play with some passion. Sabrehood is counting on you.
  11. Bruins don’t look very good on paper anymore
  12. The Sabres were shut out at home by the New York Rangers 4-0 on Thursday. Buffalo is without forwards Zach Benson and Josh Norris due to injury. The Bruins are 2-0-0 after a 4-3 win in overtime over the Chicago Blackhawks on Thursday at TD Garden. Boston has scored a power play goal in both games this season. Buffalo Sabres Projected Lines Zucker-Kulich-Thompson Quinn-McLeod-Tuch Doan-Krebs-Danforth Malenstyn-Kozak-Geertsen Byram-Dahlin Power-Timmins Samuelsson-Johnson Boston Bruins Projected Lines Geekie-E. Jason Zuckerand Tage Thompson each had five. Boston Bruins Tanner Jeannot scored his first goal as a Bruin on Thursday. Elias Lindholm has scored in each of the first two games for Boston. 13. I think the organization just doesn't beleieve people when they say they are so frustrated they are giving up their 'fandom' of the team. And in the past they have been mostly correct. Myself, 20 years ago I wouldn't believe that anyone could be a fan of a team and then 'give up' that team or sport. To me it was just something that people said when they were frustrated, but it wasn't true, so I thought. Things are different now, at least for me. As I have said many times I was a Bills season ticket holder for over a decade, never missed a game, memorized the entire rosters year after year, had jerseys, hats, all sorts of clothing and posters/banners. Now, I barely watch a game. And that is a team that is WINNING. It just gets to a point where its not worth it. Forget about the money, its not worth the time, its not worth feeling bad a lot more than you feel good after some games. With the Sabres I have gotten myself to not even thinking about the playoffs hardly, I think of it as a simple 'one night' entertainment. That is how I got through the last set of years. But I'm almost at the point of not even caring about that anymore. They are losing people/fans in a way that I think they still don't understand.
  14. It still displays losing.....
  15. The decision to institute the lottery system for the draft is what screwed the Sabres. Gary knows it, we know it, rest assured Edmonton knows it.
  16. What about the scoreboard? 🤣 I’ll see myself out…….
  17. With 7 minutes to go, i tapped out. My eyes showed me a hard working team with not a lot of talent, futility trying again. My wife commented about the lack of joy the sabres provided me.A rangers friend texted me that the Sabres were controlling play, because he feels sorry for me. i expected a 2-0 score when I woke up. I'm watching from a distance for awhile.
  18. Apert needs to be the first sacrifice to this season. Fire him before the start of the third period tomorrow.
  19. I'd trade Norris to any team who took his entire contract for a fringe prospect at this point. I didn't understand the trade last year, and I still don't understand it this year. All the "well if he stays healthy, it's a huge upgrade", is pure speculation. The results speak for themselves, Norris is not a clubhouse cancer, or a malcontent, but he's not a player who stays healthy. Get this sinking ship out of Buffalo ASAP.
  20. Add more smoke to the fire. This is just the start of our season.
  21. Just theoretically. IF (big if) Norris was traded I think we would still get a top six forward. Just not a center. Maybe even off load Muel in the deal somehow. Benson Thompson New Guy Zucker Kulich Tuch Won’t happen. Just a hypothetical to have fun with the situation.
  22. I wish Seattle would end it so I could go to bed. But regardless I’m rooting for a Toronto - Milwaukee World Series. Please just not the Dodgers.
  23. Mariners and Tigers. The never ending story.
