Buffalo's D should have had two 3 and outs. Buffalo's O actually has two 3 and outs. I don't like it.

I know I’m in the minority here but I’m not sold on Jarmo, tell me again what he accomplished in Columbus? I think the Sabres organization needs to fire the entire front office including the coaching staff, the entire scouting department and the strength and conditioning staff. All need to go and spend some money Terry and hire the best of the best.
-
Should have been a punt. Should have been 1st and 10 inside 20. But it’s 7-0 against and the Pats with possession. Can’t have these mistakes on the road against a division leader. Cooks error is almost egregious as the coaching staff missing an easy challenge. Step it up fellas.

I disagree with the above bolded. We have seen many 'behind the scene' videos and We have heard and read from reporters around the team. What is it we can get from that? That Adams is not the 'dictator' making every decision. The people who work form him have input, a LOT of input as to the direction of the team, roster composition, etc. Now, what percentage of that is Adams, vs Pegula himself, vs the scouting dept, vs the coach, vs other members of the front office, I don't know. But what I do think is true is that this team is what it is not because of Adams alone, but the people around him have lots of input into trades/draft/roster.

One coach prepared ready to throw the red flag , the other coach not so much add another coach that we are inferior against

Going to need JA to do miracles today.
-
that is the pattern....thats for sure

Another masterclass by McDermott and his D coaches against the opening drive. game after game after game. why can they not come out and dictate on D? Seems like the opponent always starts with a TD

December is not the time for a full blood-letting though. There is work to be done and you need people to do it and you're not going to find good people to fill multiple lower-level roles mid-season. I think the idea that the rot goes much deeper than Adams and into all of the people who work for him, is generally misguided. I'm certainly not saying that there should not be deeper cuts or that everyone under Adams has done a fine job, but it is possible that Adams is simply not up to being the leader. The general notion that every underling is just a yes-man who would do nothing different than Adams, is not in keeping with the reality of my experience. Assistants have a role of helping the GM see through the GM's vision. A new GM who is capable, will evaluate the work and talents of the assistants and underlings and make appropriate decisions about who stays and who goes. Now, if people are worried that the new GM will just keep everyone because Pegula says so, then indeed that would be an issue. At some point though, that isn't something for me to worry about, but rather is a reason for me to find better things to do with my time.

GDT-Sabres @ Seattle Kraken, Dec 14 2025, 8pm MSG, ESPN+, WGR 550
Taro T replied to Porous Five Hole's topic in The Aud Club
Well the Bandits blew a 4th Q lead last night and lost to the original Kin-ig-hit Hawks in OT. What does that mean for the Bills and Sabres when playing the next day? Wtf knows? Go Sabres. Let Adams end his time in this or-gan-i-za-tion with the 1st 3 game winning streak (all on the road mind you, where they'd only won twice before and had only picked up 6 points heading into this road trip) and let him dream of what might've been. -
Just my view, but I believe you are over analyzing. Adams is the GM. He, like any Sabre GM, past and future, has been and will be handcuffed to a degree by geography, financials, history. It’s far from impossible to have success in the role though. Adams was simply not up to the task. The next GM may or may not be. There is no guarantee that the next GM will succeed, but that is not a reason to keep Adams, who has proven beyond reasonable doubt that the job is bigger than his talent for it.

Gabe Davis is inactive, Coleman in? 🫣 Benford inactive with the toe injury occurring during Thursday’s practice. Just a random, no-basis-for-it question: Is there something up with the Bills’ practice turf that at times guys seem to get injured during the week? Nothing to it I’m sure but it seems to happen an inordinate number of times.

Last season they were 36-32-5. That’s .527 win% This season they are 13-11-4 or .536 overall that’s .530% Without him .083 help me out, which is better. .530% or .083%? You probably thought trading Samson and Jack was a good idea too

For most leagues, it is week one of the fantasy playoffs. But for Sabrespace Royal, it’s the final week of the regular season! Only four teams get into the dance and a lot will be decided today. Five Hole (11-3) is in. GraveDiggsaz (9-5) is in with a win. Currently favored against @Derrico, and stands to benefit if Derrico does not update the Higgins roster spot. CircleTheWagons (9-5) is in with a win. He’s slightly favored against Waratah’s Abandoned Trash (tip of the cap to @ExWNYer for making the team competitive and coining my new favorite name, Abandoned Trash). @pi2000 would be the last team in if the playoffs started today. @SDS would be the first team out. How juicy that they play each other this week!! Pi is the favorite with Thursday’s results in mind. Unsure if @pastajoe can sneak in via tiebreakers with a win today. That’s the other 8-6 team. You might need Pi & Scott to tie? Other folks like @JujuFish (7-7) & @Wyldnwoody44 (7-7) are playing for pride or spoiler. Demerits to @North Buffalo for not updating their lineup. Boo Hiss Good luck to all!

I'm starting to get a little queasy about all this. I never wanted KA and won't miss him. But Terry has to be delighted by all the scorn directed at his GM. Seriously, all we're going to do is send KA over the Falls with Thurman's helmet and expect both curses to lift? It has to go much deeper than that. I'm almost ready to root for a win tonight to officially save KA's job. Another thing: let's say KA does get shitcanned. The team comes alive and makes the playoffs. How much credit does KA deserve? Shrooms.

You didn't fully accurately read my response to @PASabreFan. I made it clear that it was evident almost from the start that Pegula was chaotically steering the franchise ship. He was constantly lurching back and forth with no foundational strategy to build upon. That's accurate. And I was an open Granato supporter. He took over for Krueger who was an unmitigated failure. Granato's talent was with working with young players. He was the right coach for young players. To be candid, I would rather have kept Granato than bring in Ruff. In my view, Granato was a scapegoat for a failed GM. He did his best with what he had to work with. I was never on board with KA. I've had scathing criticisms for him since he was bizarrely hired. And once he assumed the reins he had a publicly stated rebuild strategy to go mostly with their own drafted and develop approach. I'm not against emphasizing young players once that approach is established as policy. However, his execution has been dismal because he doesn't have the imagination and ability to successfully carry it out. I hope this clears up your misconception about my position.

I'm not proposing we deal him and Kevyn for a bag of tattered jock straps.

What’s their record with him?
