It’s abundantly clear that TP needs to clean house and fast. Will he? Probably not. Should he, we all know it’s a yes. 
 

The rest of the league is salivating at the possibility they can pillage KA for his top guys, for pennies on the dollar.

I'm clearly in the minority here. I actually liked the way the team had been playing to start the year. 

I'm no KA defender and never will be....but to say this team has not been severely impacted by roster injuries would be horribly unfair.

This roster has been gutted.

It was 11/11. I highly doubt Adams attending the Leafs game yesterday had anything to do with the GM meeting.

The most frustrating thing is everyone knows what needs to be done. Fire the front office, scouting leaders and coaching staff. Bring in a Shanahan as President. Let Jarmo be GM or Shanahan bring in his guy. Hire DeBoer. 
 

But we know the Terry way. Promote Adams. Jarmo becomes GM with everyone else sticking around. Move Lindy upstairs and make Appert HC   with other coaches staying on. Terry thinks he’s addressed the problem as the team continues to spiral to the bottom.

The way they played early on was great. They have gotten away from that heavy physical game, At least the penalty kill is still clicking.

4-1-3 (pretty sure) with Benson in the lineup.  Which would put them at 1-8-1 with him not in the lineup.

And he wouldn't have even been on their radar had they not drafted Savoie.  That Matt Savoie pick might end up being the best of the entire Adams era as it netted both Benson and McLeod (who's definitely having an off-year, but still those 2 are likely better than anything else he's drafted; jury's still out on Peterka's final value to the Sabres).

There is lots to be critical of Sabres management for. But, Zach Benson was a top 10 ranked pick. He was on every team’s radar. I’m sure the Sabres got some extra looks with Savoie being on the same team, but it was completely consistent with their draft history under Adams for them to take Benson where they did.

That's not a thing, that's been mentioned before. It's impossible. 

Wasn't it The Athletic that revealed that Adams was the "secret meetings" guy rumored around the Darcy/Black era? The owner is having secret meetings with the low level film guy behind his GM and coaches backs. He's having secret meetings with the rink manager across the street.

Kevyn Adams needs to be removed from the payroll all together. There is no moving him to a different business unit.

If they didn't have their development people watching all of Savoie's games have no doubt they'd've F'd up the pick they used to take Benson too. 

Yes, they tend to draft small F's (or really big D) with their 1st pick of the draft.  But one thing they pretty much all have in common is that they draft guys that skate REALLY well with their top overall picks.  Benson doesn't fit that profile.

With so many real things to be critical of Sabre management for, I guess I just struggle with finding reasons to be critical of the things they got right. I mean, we want them to consider the opinions of their development staff, right?
