Carmel Corn Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago UPL can never make a key save to steal a game. I'd rather take my chances with Ellis. 2 2 1 Quote
triumph_communes Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago What are these beta ***** doing don’t play them anymore. Trade them for picks Quote

Stads Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago The broadcast really showing a "Big Save" right after they lose? You guys are unbelievable Quote

SABRES 0311 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Just now, Scottysabres said: WTF was Power doing? Everytime, and I mean everytime OP goes in deep he stops down by the opposing goal line and just watches. He has no concept of getting back into his position. UPL is not the starter this team needs regardless of coming back from an injury. 3 1 Quote
DarthEbriate Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago This could have easily been a 4-point weekend and putting Toronto in a world of hurt. 3 points is good, but the decision to bring up an unready goalie left a point on the table. 2 3 Quote
Forecheck Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago UPL very very rarely can make the huge save when it’s needed. That’s why he’s not a #1 goalie. We know what we have in him. No idea why they felt the need to rush him back. I said it was stupid days ago before it even happened and tonight we saw yet again why he’s NOT the answer. Let’s see what we have in Lyon and Ellis. Ruff and Adams aren’t smart enough to do that. 1 1 Quote
Believer Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Damn it. Brought up too soon. Needed more game action before starting thia important game against a key division rival. Back to Rochester for more work. Got a point. Quote

Bangarang Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Nothing like putting in a terrible goalie to ruin the momentum we had. What a joke. Get UPL off of this ***** team. 1 1 Quote
HumanSlinky39 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago (edited) I don't trust UPL to keep a helium balloon out of the net. That was bush league by Power, too. I'm irrationally pissed about this loss. Edited 10 hours ago by HumanSlinky39 1 1 Quote

Pimlach Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Wow. Power could not handle the puck with an open net staring at him. UPL just did not take away the net. He strolled out but looked to be playing the wrong angle. Shame to blow a lead in the 3rd. 1 Quote
Brawndo Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Just now, LGR4GM said: Kevyn Adams should never be allowed to sign another Sabres deal. Yep. Even if they make the playoffs this year, there needs to be changes 3 Quote
HILLsabre Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Power......sheeeeez. What happened to that trade Owen Power thread?? Quote
CTJoe Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago positive - good loser point and we most of the game and certainly OT - 5 grade 1 chances but puked all over themselves on every one. f%ck off UPL - maybe overreacting but he has sucked his whole life except for a 3 month period. Make s GDFing big save for once - and that 3rd goal was absolute garbage. Trade him for anything or if there are no takers, send him down to Rochester and see if someone claims him - absolutely addition by subtraction. Team shouldn't lose when playing this well cuz of an ECHL level goalie 1 1 Quote
clink Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago Ellis made TWO breakaway saves, just the other night UPL dreams of becoming Ellis 2 Quote
jad1 Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago .818 save percentage. We don't have to deal with this nonsense this season. 1 Quote
PerreaultForever Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago I really didn't think they played all that well in this game. Lots of mistakes, but the Leafs are nowhere near as good as they were with Marner and without Nylander even worse. Detroit was a better team imo. I could see these Leafs missing the playoffs. So they could have won, but UPL, like the comments above, ultimately cost them this game. Take the loser point and get Lyon back in the net. It is a little depressing to see the Leafs rough them up. Nobody should get roughed up by the Leafs. Team still needs a goalie (maybe it's Ellis, maybe it'll be Levi, it's not UPL) and some more toughness but there are other encouraging signs and issues that can be fixed. Östlund should go back to Rochester when they have enough bodies to make that possible. Quote
Carmel Corn Posted 10 hours ago Report Posted 10 hours ago UPL with a whopping .818 save pct. Seems to be about what I would expect out of him game in, game out. Quote

He should be playing in Cleveland on a conditioning stint right now. (Amerks up 1-0 in the 1st.) I would love to know who decided that one game in Rochester was enough. I think we win tonight with Ellis in net. 3 1 Quote
