I think the refs are afraid of Marchand. There’s no other way of explaining it. The league too. This guy has been getting away with murder for a very long time.

The league doesn't want fighting, yet they allow their refs to fail to do their part.

They are the aggressor and a known one, yet the refs punish the wrong team incompetently.
