Sabres have the rosters up Enough for 2 teams for the Scrimmage

The REALLY funny part of that photo is the guy on the right is only 6'2".  Gerbe really is THAT short.  😉

Still ridiculous. I went a few years ago and they had 4 teams and presented a trophy. Now it seems they can’t be bothered spending any money.

Pretty sure you're thinking of the Prospects Challenge which happens right before TC opens in September.  Expect they'll still be doing that again.  Last year IIRC there were 5 teams partaking.

Crazy thin, Chad was pointing out it’s a growing issue, and may not be a quick fix given Kevyn’s propensity for missing or burning 2nd rounders.

We need a few of the pro guys to start hitting so it won’t matter as much.

Can you *imagine* if we didn’t luck out with Tage becoming a 40 goal talent (Adams was initially exploring trading him haha)? We have absolutely nothing aside from him other than the two first overall talents on D we literally got FROM being terrible

The Sabres have almost no forwards in the pipeline of note. It's basically 3 guys. They've spent almost all their 2nd and 3rd round picks on defense, goalie, or trade. The Sabres RHD pool is deeper than their forwards pool.
