Turbo44 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 AHL guys? Prospects? Did we give away #39 to dump Clifton? Love how we have to throw away draft capital to get rid of Adam's mistakes. 2 Quote
Turbo44 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 So, accoring to Chad, Timmins is 1 top 2 dman to play with Dahlin? I find this hard to believe? I hope I'm wrong? Now fukking trade for Robertson Quote

bob_sauve28 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Just now, Turbo44 said: What did you call? Absolutely nothing. It was a joke Timmins, 26, had 15 points (3+12) in 68 games last season with Toronto and Pittsburgh. The 6-foot-3, 213-pound defenseman is the second right shot added to the roster via trade in the past week, following the addition of Michael Kesselring from Utah on Thursday. (The Sabres also used their first-round draft pick on a right-shot defenseman in Radim Mrtka.) During Timmins' 5-on-5 ice time in 2024-25, his teams outscored their opponents 39-30 and held advantages in expected goals (52.2%), shot attempts (51.6%) and scoring chances (51.9%), according to Natural Stat Trick. 1 2 Quote

Scottysabres Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 This is Pegula helping out Pitts rebuild. I wonder if we’re in on those Crosby rumors? Just spiffballin’ is all. Quote
bob_sauve28 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Timmins averaged 18:43 in ice time – well above his career average of 15:46 – in 17 games following a March trade to Pittsburgh. He had seven points (1+6) in that span and the Penguins owned a 57-percent share of shot attempts with him on the ice at 5-on-5. A native of of St. Catharines, Ont. – about 30 miles north of Buffalo – Timmins was a second-round draft pick (32nd overall) by Colorado in 2017. He’s played 159 NHL games spanning six seasons with Colorado, Arizona, Toronto and Pittsburgh. Belliveau, 22, split last season between Pittsburgh’s AHL and ECHL affiliates. The 2021 fifth-round pick has seven points (1+6) in 24 career AHL games. Quote

Crusader1969 Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 "Timmins is a promising, bigger-bodied offensive defenseman with upside if he can stay healthy. His advanced stats show he drives play and contributes more offensively." 3 Quote

GASabresIUFAN Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 (edited) This is a Beck Malenstyn type trade Adams trades a 2nd for a 26 year old player who has 1 full NHL season under his belt. We also get a cap dump and a ECHL/AHL depth D. Seems like another JBD type swing on a depth D with hoped more potential. Adams throwing a cheap bowl of RD spaghetti and hopes he finds a couple who can play. Edited June 28 by GASabresIUFAN Quote
Thorny Posted June 28 Report Posted June 28 Another guy where injury history very much a question mark Quote
