shrader Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 TSN has a story up saying that Carter Hart is very likely to sign with Vegas. Looking at their depth chart, that move makes a ton of sense. That's a very questionable lilneup right there, especially for a high end team. It makes you reflect on the Sabres goalies a bit and realize just how questionable the position is all over the league. DarthEbriate Posted October 2 Report Posted October 2 (edited) Florida extends Mikkola to 8 x $5M for forty total. Second pair defensive defenseman. One more year on the current deal. Edit: Whoops. Did a number transposition there... One more cup of coffee ought to fix that. Edited October 2 by DarthEbriate Quote

Jorcus Posted October 3 Report Posted October 3 Tampa and Florida really beating on each other. Somehow Tampa has 5 players in the box at once. 1 Quote

IMO decent value on both for future. Seems like a more traditional hitting and blocking dman but not necessarily more effect than OP. Quote

He's from the 2019 draft class I think. He's their #1 guy. 5 minutes ago, Brawndo said: Because Ruff will retire and give it up to Appert. 1 Quote

He was an NHL rookie on one of the worst teams in the league. He was not in his 3rd nhl season on a 2nd pair with Rasmus Dahlin to lean on in the locker room and to also eat the toughest minutes. Owen Power is fine, he's probably an above average defender and certainly well above average offensively. Edited October 3 by LGR4GM Quote

Well Tampa and Florida just would not let it go. Mostly Tampa sending out players with intent to Injure. Not sure how it helps these teams get ready. Ekblad might be hurt. Girgensons went out. Verhage got him self kicked out after he got smashed in the head. Tampa gets crushed and did not win to many fights. Quote

That was absurd. Maurice and his “The only players we hit are the ones with the puck” must have been lost in translation? 1 Quote
SabreFinn Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 Every Atlantic team, except Sabres, and some metro teams, are going to play a really tough game on Panthers to get them as many injuries and lost points as possible. Panthers know this, and they are not going to sit there waiting for punches to come, they probably, as it seems, hit first. Interesting season coming! Quote

This shows they cared. What about is debatable. Edited October 5 by LGR4GM 1 Quote
Weave Posted October 5 Report Posted October 5 What the hell started all that TB-FL mess anyway? Was there some carry over from something that happened last season, or was the last 2 games spontaneous? Quote
