Do you think the Jets are going to risk him walking like Ehlers? And Sabre fans, how do you feel about 30 year old Alex Tuch at $10 x 8? My guess is that Adams assumed the Sabres would be a playoff team the last two years and he would be extending Peterka and Quinn on big deals, trading Tuch for futures, and getting ready to promote Rosen. I think he gets somewhere around 7 x 11.5m. Quote

Mr. MVP Posted Sunday at 05:16 PM Report Posted Sunday at 05:16 PM Surprised Luke Hughes isn’t signed yet. Would it likely take four 1sts to offer sheet him? And I’m starting to think offer sheeting Mason McTavish might be worth it. It won’t be the highest tier. Reading that the Ducks want to bridge him so maybe he’ll be more inclined to accept a long term deal and shoot, maybe the Ducks won’t like the long term deal and refuse to match it. I just think McTavish is just what we need for this year and the next 10. He’s a future star. 2 Quote

Not interested in playing the OS game; we need our 26 1st for any semblance of safety if things go belly up again. I don’t feel McTavish will give a boost this season to assure us a playoff berth or that he might ever reach his contract level. 1 Quote

I wouldn't offer sheet him, but there is at least the rumor that he is available in trade. I'd spend some futures currency to get him. Agree you need to hold onto the 26 1st, because there's a very real chance that is a reasonable lottery ticket for McKenna. Quote

Just asking if he’d probably be the highest tier. But let’s say we go after McTavish. We’re not getting McKenna. And anyone we get (besides McKenna) may or may not be as good as McTavish. McTavish is also ready to be a 2C (possible 1C) for us now. Assuming someone went after him, what would the offer sheet return require? 1st and 3rd? Quote

Buffalo could not get into that next range. Quote

That wedding picture is consistent with it, I suppose. Moreover, getting married nowadays when you're 22 years old is part of it. Dude just comes off super trad. As does Thompson. And like I said: I'm not sure what to make of it. Does it inhibit team bonding? If I'm being cynical and sh1tty about it (haha - which means I'm about to be): It's almost giving Mormon vibes. Then again, Brigham Young fields some competitive ass football teams. Quote
