Sabres looking for Senior Advisor for Adams and Hockey Department

This is why I've turned so hard against the org. I gave them so many "well maybe...'s"

I really thought they were on to something with this current group.

But Pegula and Adams have only proven to me that they are without a doubt the dumbest guys in any professional sports room.

But first, your son got to hire his friend who just graduated 9th grade, but who has no experience as a tutor. Meanwhile, you are calling around for tutors who've gone to college and have a good background in all the topics your son will be taking -- but offering minimum wage, and asking the tutor to work only at the direction and schedule of your son.

…or its your son, and ALL of his classmates have failed for 5 straight years, and the teacher, who doesn’t have tenure isn’t fired but rather the principal allows the teacher to hire an “advisor” - who is a retired college professor, but answers to the failed teacher.  And the principal then lets the teacher hire his recently unemployed frat buddy to help with Math; but only on Fridays.  The rest of the week he is remote.

PLUS…..requiring that the Tutor allow you (I.e. Terry) to sit in on all the sessions in order to make sure that you (the Dad) has input and is heard every session.

I am totally agreeing with everyone on here. It is getting harder and harder to stay positive with this team. I give this board credit for me getting rid of my "Stormcloud" attitude and just enjoying the hockey and that my favorite city still has a team. But every year i tell my wife this is our year and she replies "Pick another Team" LOL I already did that with Racing. (Sorry Petty racing or whatever you are now)

Absolutely. Because you (the Dad) think you know a little more about numbers than some tutor. Can't have your kid learning long division the wrong way. Plus, you also might learn a little bit more about the information yourself, because you're curious and want to be able to have good conversations at the dinner table each day.

So, you own a bottom feeder team for 14 straight years, one that players and coaches avoid,  and you ask a Hall of Fame VP/GM with 4 Stanley Cups to work for Kevyn Adams?  

Holland wants day to day control of the team.  Terry is sticking with Adams and wanted Holland for an Advisory role.    Terry is embarrassing.  How does he even have that conversation with Holland, or did he have Adams reach out to him?    I would love to know who talked to Holland.  

Either way, not a serious team.

This rumor has always sounded to me like the Sabres are looking for that pseudo-retired guy who is looking to stay involved but step back a bit. You check in with Holland, but then find out that he’s not looking to step back yet.

This falls in the catagory of "you cant make this sh(t up"... then again everything they do does... and I am sure he didnt have a conversation with him... I can here the conversation now...
