Bandits had a ton of bad bounces/luck -hitting quite a few posts. I only was able to watch the 2nd half, but Dane Smith seemed like a non-factor to me. Isn't he our best player, correct me if I'm wrong.

They had a bad night on faceoffs. Connor Farrell, their specialist, won very few. That's a lot of extra possessions for Saskatchewan.

I was told the game is streaming on Disney+ but i think i logged on too late. Will I be able to watch it the same way Saturday?

Game 3 will be on ESPN2.

Bandits lost too many loose ball battles last night. Gave the Rush too many extra possessions as a result.

The Rush were desperate, particularly in the 4th, and the Bandits weren't.  Too many loose balls lost.  Too many shots JUST wide leading to easy clears for the Rush.  Wyers had 1 bad minute (got beat on a 1 on 1 battle, then was off his mark on a shot he should've soaked and normally would've) in the middle of the 4th and the Rush ended up with 2 goals because of it.

They gave up a goal with less than a second left in the 2nd Q after having just about every single Bandit go into a very un-Bandit-like scramble leaving an easy nearly uncontested 3 on 1 shot to go into the 1/2 tied at 6.

Bandits might've been better off heading into the 4th down a goal instead of up by one.  Then THEY might've had some desperation to their game.

Saturday will be a good one.  Hopefully the Bandits win that "race to 11" this time.  They did Friday and didn't quite yesterday.

Rush is a very appropriate name for a Canadian team. Do they have any connection at all?

Not really. The franchise began in Syracuse (Smash), then moved to Ottawa (Rebel). They were named the Rush when they moved again to Edmonton before moving to Saskatoon.

Reminder - the Bandits will go for their 3rd straight title at 4:30PM today on ESPN2 taking on the Saskatchewan Rush in a winner takes all game in Banditland.

Let's GO BAN-DITS!!!!!!!!!

(And immediately preceding that on ESPN2 will be the 6th ranked Syracuse Orangemen taking in the #2 ranked Maryland Twerps for the right to face the top ranked Cornell Big Red in the national lax championship game.  Go 'Cuse!!!!)

Because the 'Cuse game (if it can be called that, they DID score 1st, but not much else has gone right) is still going on, the Bandits game will start out on ESPN News.

(and it's on ESPN+ too).  (Likely TSN & TSN+ up in Canada.)

Five straight goals put Bandits up 7-3 ten minutes left in first half

7-4 now

And it’s been all Rush since. Now 7-6. Bandits once again getting worked on loose balls and those possessions add up.

I just turned it on and it was a goal to 7-5 and they've looked bad since I've started watching.

Stop watching; you are jinx.

Bandits looked like they were going to pull away taking a 7-3 lead but then the Rush closed the half with 3 straight goals to narrow it down to 7-6...

Setting up for a barnburner of a second half...
