I'm not going to pick the trophies. Overall I think it'll be as expected, McDavid and so on. The teams in the playoffs will be pretty much like last year. A few things I'm interested in seeing though:

1) Florida. Will Reinhart show what he has there or will he just be the same. Will what they have take them up a level and maybe beat Tampa? Will they even make the playoffs? I'm curious to see how that plays out.

2) Will the Kraken way be any good?

3) Will the Laughs crap out in the playoffs again so I can watch the Toronto media go insane?

4) Will Wilson and Reaves actually have the fight of the century?

5) Will Eichel get traded anywhere?

6) Will the Islanders be able to go the extra level and win it?

7) Will Risto be good in Philly and become a fan favourite there?

and lastly, will anyone be close to as bad as the Sabres?

No awards given out this season, as giant meteor crashes into the Earth on April 28th.  We don't even get RJ's last broadcast.  😞

After rubble is finally cleared in November league decides to just put big asterisk up and declare everyone's a winner for '21-'22.  As such, the entry draft lottery includes all 32 teams and the Sabres get the 31st pick.  Shockingly the Loafs get pick 32.  (Daly is heard muttering something about the league finally getting tired of carrying water for those Hosers; they'll just screw it up again anyway.)  Bolts win the lottery.  Rags go 2nd.
