Which is normal for late round picks. Let's not act like Tampa hitting on every pick from one draft is normal. It's not. They were supremely lucky. Good scouting helps but every teams misses on late round picks, it's why they are late round picks.

The difference is TB finds some consistently and we don’t. Since Gerbe in 2005, Ullmarks 26 games are the most by a Sabres 5-7 rd pick. Biega and Byron have played 100 plus games but not for us. We let Biega walk for nothing and trade Byron to Mon for next to nothing after only 8 games.
