Everybody is so burned out, I don’t think people are seeing that this team is actually starting to come together. We’re not “good” but we are working hard, starting to mesh and better grasp the system. Eight points in Lehner’s last seven starts, 16 goals for, 17 against and we’ve been in every game. Even got a point in Johnson’s 5-4 meltdown against Carolina. If we can continue this into January...well, progress is all we can ask for. Yep. If they were playing this way from day 1, they'd be in. I was covering a high school hockey game at a rink close to Chelmsford and saw this kid carrying his gear. Looked just like Jack, just younger. I agree he did, definitely. I just don't care. He's a number 2 overall pick on pace for about 20 points in his third pro season. Produce. He didn't. Not good enough.
