As GMTM, what package would you want, or is the #2 pick untouchable? Offer #1 Ryan Nugent-Hopkins 2015 #16 Pick in 1st Round 2016 1st Round Pick or how about Offer #2Ryan Nugent-Hopkins Darnell Nurse Edmonton has a lot of assets, so they could make an interesting offer. The consequence of this past season was watching and rooting for the Oilers and Coyotes, so yes, I was an Oilers fan for 3 months or so. I'm looking forward to watching Eichel for years to come, so my assessment is jaded with the emotion of the McEichel race. Giving him up seems crazy, BUT there has to be a point where GMTM would pull the trigger. I want Darnell Nurse, RNH, the rest of their 2015 draft (any pick they own outside of picks 1+2) and I want rounds 1-4 of their 2016 draft. Their first round pick in 2017 and Jordan Eberle. It would be hard to pass on this offer: Nugent-Hopkins Yakupov 2016 1st Round Pick I'm sorry it is very easy to pass on that offer. Yakupov is a big question mark. RNH is lesser Reinhart. That 2016 1st round pick could be anywhere so it is a mystery. You are giving all that up for Jack Eichel, someone who at the Worlds was playing good. That offer doesn't even move the needle. To compare to Buffalo it would be like if we said to Edmonton, we will give you Reinhart (who I think will be better than RNH) Zadorov and a 2016 1st for McDavid. I definitely didn't suffer through the worst two years of my life as a Sabre fan for RNH, Yakupov, and a friggin 1st next year. Words can't describe how bad a trade that would be for the Sabres. Neither of your offers are close to proper value for the #2 pick that gets Jack Eichel. If it was me, the pick wouldn't be on the table.
