Traverse City Tournament: Sept. 12 - Sept. 16

Well, with all the recent Pegula hullaballoo, we seem to have forgotten that there is Sabres hockey TOMORROW. There are plenty of guys playing in Traverse City that I (and I expect many others here) want to get a look at, including Armia, Baptiste, Carrier, Reinhart, McCabe, Risto and Nikita.

One question I can't find an answer for anywhere is: are these games on TV? Streaming? Anything?

Roster:

Forward

Joel Armia

Justin Bailey

Nicholas Baptiste

Joseph Blandisi

William Carrier

Daniel Catenacci

Eric Cornel

Colin Jacobs

Michael Joly

Vaclav Karbacek

Justin Kea

Brendan Lemieux

Sam Reinhart

Jack Rodewald

Jordan Samuels-Thomas

Defense

Brady Austin

Ryan MacKinnon

Brycen Martin

Jake McCabe

Rasmus Ristoilainen

Jared Walsh

Nikita Zadorov

Goalie

Francios Brassard

Andrey Makarov

How 'bout some real, on-ice hockey talk?

Go Sabres.

As far as I can tell the Sabres are not streaming it.

Why in the world is the NHL Network not carrying this? Too busy showing replays of the 2004 playoffs? Jeez.

Because they don't want to pay the money to set up the cameras and the system in the arena and actually broadcast it. Perhaps when the Harbor Center is finished Buffalo will host a prospects tourney and actually televise it.

I can't wait for tomorrow I'm more of a Sabres fan than Bills. I'm looking forward to seeing the future play in this tournament.

I agree with you, just wish it was on TV, or even viewable on the web.

I'm an equal Bills and Sabres fan, but....while the happenings with the Bills lately have everyone elated, I kinda need a break from the Bills. I'm happy for everything going on, but I'm on Bills overload now.

pirate feed? Virus risk? Quick links to porn sites?

No its legit. I used it all last year. Ohl, qmjhl, whl, ahl, swedish elite league got it all. They also were a tech partner for the fifa world cup. I had no issues.

It works best with Roku...mirrorcast would hang everryonce in awhile.

Good info. Thanks.

Regarding Roku -- is it one of the Roku channels, or are complex Roku gymnastics required? And is it necessary to watch it live, or do they keep games available for later viewing (if you happen to know)?

Thanks.

A lot of the pirate feed sites give you viruses -- a few years ago my computer locked up immediately after I tried to watch a Sabres game in Germany on one of those sites. And one indicator of a sketchy site is when it has a bunch of porn links.
